Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Staff was excellent!
I was attending a conference and had some technology challenges. Courtney, bellman, saw me struggling and helped me complete necessary tasks. The whole staff was pleasant and helpful. The room was comfortable, too.
I will definitely stay in this hotel again!

We picked this hotel because it is a short walk from Penn Station, our arrival and departure spot. Also, we were in NYC to see plays and it is a very short walk to the heart of Time Square. It is nice that the hotel is on a side street of the hub-bub of Times Square so it is quiet compared to other hotels located in Times Square.

We enjoyed our stay at your hotel. Gracious service from all the staff. Particular thank you to Katherine at the front desk who was very helpful.
The beds were comfortable. Rooms were clean and nice.
Suggestions for improvement:
1. Please install blackout blinds or proper curtains in the rooms. It was hard to sleep because the bright lights from the construction project behind the building are on 24-7, and the curtains in the room are only half curtains so they cannot be closed.
2. Please provide full recycling for paper, plastics, glass and organic waste. We live in a green era. There is no reason why your hotel should not have a zero waste policy and a program to recycle virtually everything.

The NYC Holiday Inn Express is the perfect place to stay in NYC. It is not a luxury hotel, but the location is 5 stars. It is very clean and the breakfast was great. The food is more than a Continental breakfast. They have fresh omelets, bacon, sausage, fresh fruit, yogurt, breads and more. The staff is super nice

My husband and I booked a two-night stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Times Square, sight unseen. We were looking for a Holiday Inn hotel that allowed us to use our rewards points, that was within walking distance of a subway stop, and that was close to (yet somewhat removed from) Times Square. This Holiday Inn Express was the perfect choice for us. We found the staff to be extremely welcoming (starting with Katherine, who checked us in and offered us bottles of water), the room extremely clean, and the bed very comfortable. Once we left the hotel, we discovered a nice breakfast place, several bars (including an Irish one!), and lots of fabric stores on the same street. We had an easy walk to Times Square, as well as to the Gershwin Theatre. On our way home from the theatre, our cab fare was only $7.00 + tip! On our next trip to NYC, we'll use this Holiday Inn -- even if we have no rewards nights left.

Overall poor experience. Clogged Toilet and Sink. Poor customer service. Elevators too busy and long wait to get in. Breakfast area too crowded.
