Front desk people very friendly. I stayed 4 days. On my third stay front desk called to make sure my room was up to my expectations. I have been in literally hundreds of hotels over the last 50 years and this is the first time ever anyone called my room during my stay to make sure I was satisfied!
Excellent location, great room. Price was high but less than comparable hotels in area. I give this hotel 10 out of 10!

Most Holiday Inn I was in like NY the space was tight which was understandable. This suite upgrade was a good surprise. Spacious with a place to sit and eat as well as a big king size bed.

Good reasonably priced in Charleston. Front desk staff recommended a good area to go for dinner. Breakfast had a great variety. Location was close enough to Charleston that the drive was only 15 minutes to downtown.

In the past as a IHG member I received a bottle of water on check in but did not here. Did not get newspaper at door.
Pancake machine produced poor quality pancakes and one morning they did not have any pancake mix. One morning the the dining area wasn't open when I went to work.

Updated rooms, clean facility and the staff is wonderful. One thing to note, do book a room on the back side of the property. The front side is on a very busy street, with lots of heavy traffic. Will definitely stay here again when in the area.

The hotel was really nice and the amenities even better. The only issue was some of the staff at breakfast particularly a young boy who clearly didn't know his voice carried so far had a bit of a mouth on him.
