The evening staff was amazing with their recommendations for the area. We really enjoyed the managers reception!! The room seemed very small, but it was clean and welcoming! The pool was very cool too!

This was the second time we have stayed at this Holiday Inn Express.
The first time wasn't great, but we thought maybe it was just an off night. The deadbolt lock was broken, but it was late & we didn't care. Left very early the next morning.
Second trip was for two nights. Rooms are very small; especially the bathrooms, but seemed to be pretty clean. Most of our issues are with the lackadaisical attitude of the staff.
This is a no-smoking hotel; there is a sign outside the front entrance that says "no smoking in this area". On four different occasions of arriving or leaving the front entrance, desk clerks, housekeeping help or maintenance people were outside smoking!! There is a nice bench outside to sit on - there were four housekeepers sitting there puffing away!!
The breakfast area was a total disaster. Yes, they were busy, but the people in charge seemed either unskilled or didn't care. The first morning, the poor woman just seemed unorganized. The second morning a different woman was more interested in chatting with one of the maintenance guys. There were no forks, no bread, no milk, no orange juice, no sausage - guests kept having to ask for simple things that should have been being taken care of.
We have family in the area, but will be looking for somewhere else to stay the next time we visit.
