BUILDING AND CLEANLINESS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE! I HOPE THEY GET THEIR ACT TOGETHER AND STAND UP THE THE HOLIDAY INN NAME. THE SMELL IN THE ELEVATOR WAS SO HORRIBLE THAT THE STAIRS WERE THE ONLY OPTION

This is the best place to stay. I always sleep well here and the front staff is always great.

My family and I had a funeral to attend while coming from Little Rock, we opted to go up the night before and be refreshed and comfortable for the service. We were put on the third floor which is the top floor. As soon as we got off the elevator, it was like walking into an oven. When we went in the room because of the dark carpet, I noticed about an inch all around the room of dust up against the walls where a vacuum had just pushed the dust, where the corner round would be if it had it. There is no way that the people cleaning couldn't have seen it. The bathroom had lights burned out so that you could not see to put your makeup on. The beds were lumpy and not comfortable at all. I called down stairs about the heat in the hall way and the fella said he might could come up and open the doors at the ends to get some circulation. Since it was late and we needed to get some rest, I didn't follow up. The next morning we go downstairs for breakfast and once again the hallway was stifling. I found a thermostat and made some adjustments but it didn't work. Back to breakfast. No eggs, no bacon, no gravy for the brick like biscuits, and the room was like an oven. I heard one of the workers say someone had not shown up for work yet. It was extremely disappointing to get all cleaned up, makeup on, hair done, just to have it all melt when you stepped out in the hallway. I told my husband we would have been better off staying at one of the cheap hotels.
