Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very quiet and peaceful hotel. Of all the Holiday Inn Express hotels I have stayed at the Pella, IA Holiday Inn was the most relaxing and quiet I have ever stayed at. It is "off the beaten path" and took a little drive to get to, the drive was worth it. The staff was very friendly, the room comfortable but the quiet nature of the place was very nice. Usually hotels are on the freeways or busy streets but this hotel is in the country. Surrounded by a golf course and neighborhood. I would definitely stay in this hotel again. April 19, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Exactly what I want in a hotel A very enjoyable hotel. The room was clean, quiet, and pleasant. The bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows and blankets. The common areas were bright and welcoming, and well maintained. The complimentary breakfast was very nice, and items were well attended by the staff even when the dining area was busy. The front desk staff were quick, efficient, and helpful. They thought ahead about guest needs, such as providing new internet passwords in advance of the password change so that the guest had minimal interruption of service. I had the impression that all staff members worked as a team and genuinely cared about doing a good job regardless of their task. April 16, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Nice hotel, no hot shower though The hotel staff was friendly, room was nice, food was good. The only complaint I have is that there was no hot water pressure on both visits to this hotel in February 2015. When I brought this concern to the hotel staff, I was told, "Wake up earlier if you want a hot shower. We have a lot of people staying here." So hotel guests need to adjust their schedule to accommodate for poor facilities?? Not a great experience. March 4, 2015
