We were flat out lied to multiple times by the front desk staff regarding a payment method with my credit card. We complied with every one of their requests only to then be told a new story. We had to extend our reservation but I was leaving town for a few days so my girlfriend was going to be the only one here to check in under the new reservation. They already had my credit card information on file because we had already been staying here for a week prior. Nonetheless, we notified the front desk of the situation and they said that it would not be a problem just as long as I made the new reservation under my girlfriend's name. That was not to be the case, however. We spent the next 2 days fighting with them because they wouldn't authorize my credit card since I wasn't physically present. All of this hassle despite being told otherwise before I left town. I sent pictures of my credit card to them, upon their request, as well as a handwritten letter of authorization to use my credit card. Then, when presented with this, suddenly they couldn't accept that either. My girlfriend was denied multiple requests to speak with the General Manager. Finally, on the second day of battle, a woman came out of the back posing as the GM (we later found out she was not) and still did not offer a solution to our problem. I tried to call corporate to see if they could do anything and when I spoke to a woman with guest relations, she called the hotel directly to try to resolve our issue. Apparently she talked to the same woman who was posing as the GM and was given a completely innaccurate account of the situation. Not only that, she had the audacity to tell the woman from guest relations that they could not accept my authorization letter because it was full of profanity and bad words (an egregious lie). What's worse, is that the woman from guest relations seemed to buy the "GM's" bogus accuasations and stories. They made us feel guilty and painted it as if they are going to do us a favor in this situation and let my girlfriend continue to stay at the hotel until I returned. The customer service at both the hotel and guest relations was shockingly bad.

en nuestro paso por Vallarta, vimos el hotel y sucedio que despues de tomar unos dias mas en otro lugar de la bahia, decidimos hospedarnos en el para descansar de un exceso de naturaleza, un lugra altamente recomendable, comodo y confortable, gracias a todo el personal, desde atencion telefonica hasta el mismo del hotel, GRACIAS

El baño en el área de la regadera se podría poner un poco màs de atención a la limpieza.
En general muy agradable, pero sería excelente que hubiera la opción de baño con tina o jacuzzi.

me pareció de mal gusto que el personal encargado de limpieza abra la puerta para para consultar si uno aún está ahí o no, eso fue todos los días al rededor de las 9 am; estoy de acuerdo en hacer llamado tocando la puerta pero si no se le responde, a pesar que la tv esté encendida, la persona abre, se disculpa y luego cierra...

This hotel was wonderful!!!!
Upon my arrival, which was a bit early, my room was not quite ready. The clerk informed me that it may take an additional 20 minutes.
I decided to take a table in the large breakfast area portion of the lobby and get a little work done. The Wi-Fi in the lobby and room was excellent. I also enjoyed watching and listening to the large fountain in the middle of the lobby.
When I returned to the counter 40 minutes later, I was informed that my room was still not quite ready. The manager, I believe her name is Gabriele, immediately stepped in and offered to upgrade me to a vacant suite. She clearly understands good customer service. She had a smile and hello every time I went thru the lobby. She should be commended for such good work.
The suite was beyond unbelievable!! It was the size of 3 normal rooms. The bathroom was huge and luxurious. The closet space was very large. There was a nice kitchen area and table. A sofa and tv area. And a tv and desk in the bed area. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Above and beyond all of this, there was a wrap-around balcony that offered great views of the mountains.
The breakfast bar here is amazing. Plan extra time for breakfast. You will not be disappointed So many options that I have never had at another hotel. SO much fresh fruit!!! Very nice touch.
If this hotel has a drawback, for some it may be the location. It is not near the beach or the lively Centro zone. However, the bus runs every few minutes on the street in front of the hotel. The ride is about 20 minutes and costs 7.5 pesos (50 cents) each way. You can also take a cab and that will cost only 120 pesos, or $7.50.
Every staff member was very friendly and each that I encountered spoke fluent English.
There is a bank immediately in front of the hotel. I found the ATM here to have the least expensive charge of any I used in PV.
I will definitely be returning to PV and will most certainly stay at this hotel when I do. I would recommend this hotel to all of my friends.
