Room was small...the bathroom sink was outside of the bathroom i personally didnt like that...hotel was next to freeway so thru the nite i was woken up by honking and freeway traffic noise. Good breakfast. Pool was super small and there was no jacuzzi. Was close to the beach.

Pictures on th web don't show how small is the hotel.
Staff is not that great. Manager was nice but some of the front desk ladies are not good at all.
Breakfast area is too small for the big crowd. There was no seats both days we were there. Why serve breakfast if people can't seat and have breaksfast?
Overpriced for this kind of hotel.
Pool is a huge bathtub - so so small.
Rooms are very smaller compared to any other Holiday inn express I stayed before.

I had made a reservation for my ex and my son to stay at this hotel for 1 night. I called the day before she was to arrive to put her name on the reservation. I spoke to Anna, and she was very helpful and she assures me she would be able to check in. On the day of the reservation, she called the hotel to inquire about an early check in. She was told somebody would call her at 1pm to confirm if there was an available room. Nobody called her so she called the hotel to ask again. This time she was told there were no rooms available and she would have to wait until 3. The gentleman she spoke to was very rude and wouldn't give her any answers. I found this strange as I am a platinum ihg member. So I called the hotel on her behalf, and I spoke with Anna again. I told her the situation and once again she was very helpful and understanding, and she said there were in fact rooms available. She said she will take care of everything, and that she had already made the keys for the room, and my ex would just have to show up and everything would be taken care of. I was satisfied with this so I instructed her to go to the hotel for the early check in. She finally arrived at the hotel, and they refused to let her check in because her name was no longer on the reservation. Keep in mind, I personally called twice to verify that her name was on there and was told it was. I was in a meeting at work and get a frantic phone call that they won't let her check in. So I leave the meeting to call the hotel a 3rd time, and I.talk to someone new. She informs me she just got to work and verified her name was not on the reservation. I explained to her I have called and talked to Anna several times already and everything should be taken care of. She said nothing had been done. I have her authorization again to let her check in on my behalf and she was finally able to check in. I stay at IHG properties 20 to 30 times a year. I have never experienced such incompetence. I will never stay at this property again and will make sure none of my friends do.either.
