We arrived at 4PM and were told the two double bed room we reserved were sold out, but I made reservation through the hotel's online system, not a travel agent/website. The staff was trying to help but she was alone by herself to deal with all sorts of complaints/issues happening at the same time and she has no authorization to do anything about our case. We waited at the lobby for more than 1 hour and finally the manager called and offer a one-king room with a pullout to solve the problem but our evening plan was basically ruined because of this incident.

The hotel appeared to be run down or not well maintained in certain areas. For example, there were scratches on the elevator walls and indicator lens, debris in the elevator door channel, stains on the elevator floors.
The bathroom tiles were cracked, caulk peeling, mildew in shower tile grout, stains in bathtub.

Lumpy pillows, soft mattress, both leading to little sleep. And the AC was so/so which left the room very "damp."
