Bad experience

The first red flag of this hotel was the location. It was in a place a little sketchy but the worst part was the parking. The spots were small and everyone was parked in more than than one so we had to do the same bad parking job when we found a spot about 10 minutes later going around and around multiple times in the small parking lot. When we walked it the hotel it was nice at first but we went up the elevator and when we got to out floor it was extremely dark and the scent was bleach. It was very hot in the hotel, so hot that someone brought their own fan with them. The next day we went down to get breakfast and wanted to bring some up. I went to ask for a tray, the kind of trays that every other Holiday Inn Hotels have, but instead we got a cardboard box. I did not enjoy our stay.

Uncommon Experience

I usually don't write reviews, especially for hotel chains that I use, but this needs to be said.

When I first booked the room I was told that I would have extended parking taken care of(compensated) at a remote lot walking distance from the hotel. Didn't happen. I checked in and they told me I needed to park at their preferred lot, and it would not be compensated, and certainly not walking distance.

I flew out of state for 7 days and returned on an evening. The Shuttle took almost 25 minutes pick me up, and when it arrived it had signs all over it for a competing hotel, so I was unsure if it was my shuttle or not.

The next day I was taken back to the parking lot by a driver that didn't even know where it (parking lot) was, I had to direct him there. (he was new, but shouldn't he have been trained on that simple step?) I had to ride to the airport to drop off other passengers first, which was not really an inconvenience.

When we got to the parking lot, we went to the back of the van to get my luggage(that I watched him put in) and the compartment was empty. I panicked, as I had a lot of important stuff in that luggage. We were both stunned as to where it was.

Went back to the airport to the exact spot we dropped off the passengers and a couple of men came up to us and said that they watched my luggage fall out of the van on our departure and they picked it up, and guarded it hoping we would return. I had no cash at the time to offer them a reward, but made me feel grateful.

Yes I had ID tags on the bag, but unfortunately no contact mobile number.

Just a very poor and frightful experience, and no, I will not stay at this property again. Not worth the pain. It will be interesting to see if this review gets any attention.

Great property near Sea Tac

This is a great property very close to Sea Tac Airport yet relatively quiet. I stayed twice on this trip so I returned following a week stay for an additional night. The staff are great and attentive. Dining choices in the area are somewhat spread out so it meant getting in the car to eat but there are a couple of real interesting choices. When it comes to flying out you are only minutes from the rent a car facility and then a very short shuttle ride to the airport. Great location.

Amazing

If only I had more reason to visit Seattle. Front desk staff are the friendliest and most helpful of all the ihg group hotels ive stayed- i am a Spire member ! A particular mention for Sunny. Nothing is too much trouble for these guys. Breakfast is amazing, the shuttle service is with out doubt efficient. Rooms are clean warm and bring a good nights sleep. Hotel is a little retro but this adds to the total experience and joy to stay in a well organised hotel. 10/10 guys .

The hotel may be a little tired but I would still stay here over a brand new hotel. The staff is amazing and will make you feel like you are right at home. I can't say enough about Sonny and her crew, Kim, Bert and Kaitlin. I don't know her name but the breakfast girl is always smiling and happy.
