Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Impeccable service My wife and I saved a rocking horse my son rode with enthusiasm and a big smile for 25 years in order to give it to his first child. When riding the horse he broke the metal supports which we had to reorder. Well we never opened up the parts box until we arrived at the HIX. We did not bring any tools with to assemble the rocking horse and the front desk asked the maintenance person to help us out with some tools. When we opened it up to assemble it, there were parts missing. The maintenance man was there and he could sense our disappointment. He looked over all the parts to see if he could help. There was nothing we could do. Well he went to his computer and looked up the company and this item and found out this horse was recalled for safety reasons. He went out of his way to come back to our room with a flyer he printed from the company to give to us. We were so thankful and we didn't feel so bad about assembling the rocking horse. The best part is when we showed the horse to our son for his birthday and a picture of him riding it. He literally broke down and when we told him the story - he said that the maintenance man went above and beyond for us. We all extended a special thanks and one of the reasons why we will always come back to this hotel. Many thanks again. May 19, 2015

They have quick check out in the morning and the breakfast area was very clean. The food they served was very fresh and they never ran out. May 15, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Recent Stay The staff is always great. This was my 2nd stay in the past month. There are two areas of concern. I am a stickler for details and the elevator tracks were filthy. It's an area that most hotels don't look at. The laminate floor in the elevator is in bad shape. (you shouldn't use laminate in areas prone to water). The bed in my room were hard as a rock. My back was very sore after trying to sleep in that bed. Everything else was great. I will stay again. May 11, 2015
