Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Front Desk Staff We were displaced by the tornadoes that hit Texas on December 26, 2015. Our insurance company made arrangements for us to stay at the Holiday Inn Express and Suites. Upon arrival, the staff was prompt and courteous. They treated us like family and took care of whatever we needed. Throughout our stay, any problems we had, and addressed with them, was taken care of. They were cheerful, respectful and helpful. The hotel was quite clean, and what problems we had with the cleaning staff was promptly taken care of by the Front Desk staff. The breakfast leaved a bit to be desired, but at least they had some things that were warm, or that you could make. Overall, it was much, much better than could be expected. February 2, 2016

The rooms are clean and the beds are fresh and comfortable. The staff at the hotel in Waxahachie are always polite and cheerful whenever I stay there. February 1, 2016

The Check In Staff at desk seemed genuinely happy that they could upgrade my room.Felt very welcome. Room was a corner Suite that was very comfortable and open. Will surely stay here again next time I am in town. January 11, 2016

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Poor Room Service Room was not serviced by the maid after the first night. Note from maid stated room was not serviced due to a Do Not Disturb hanger on the door. The hanger was left on the INSIDE where it lived. I was out of the room from 9:30 am all day until 8:00 pm. Not pleasant to arrive back to full trash cans, unmade beds, and used towels!! I complained to the on-duty desk clerk. He gave me a $10 room rate credit upon checkout. Apparently the maids only check on their assigned rooms once daily (just long enough to fill out a "form") Not happy, but will continue to stay at their chain motels. December 26, 2015
