I arrived late and it was nice to walk into a clean and quiet location. The front desk staff was nice and welling to help. The comfort and cleanliness of the rooms made it easy to get a good nights rest before my busy work day. April 23, 2016

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Problems 4 out of 5 days Day 1: checked in, toilet was stopped up (experience at this hotel forces me to check toilet function when I arrive); only 3 clothes hangers in closet; no alarm clock in room. Notified front desk who was very helpful. Day 2: bed not made! Bathroom trash not emptied! Did not replace bath floor towel; floor not vacuumed - maintenance had left some stuff on carpet after fixing toilet Day 1. Notified front desk, doubtful it got passed on to top management. Day 3: did not replace bath floor towel or a hand towel. Why bother to complain yet again? Day 4: did not provide new shampoo and conditioner, instead they put the half empty ones that were in the shower on the sink like they were new, did not discover until time to use it in the shower. Day 5: they surprised me by getting it right. It is a shame, this used to be top notch. I travel a lot, using many hotels including other HIX - this is the worst of these by far. They brag about installing a boot mud brush at the back door - I would rather have working toilets, please. April 15, 2016
