The room was extremely clean and the bed and pillows were super comfy. I had a hard time leaving such a comfortable bed upon check out. February 25, 2015

The continental breakfast was more than adequate. Coffee was always available. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again. January 28, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Sooo Accommodating! We booked this hotel suddenly after a death in our family. Our stay extended from Monday to Saturday, not knowing what the funeral arrangements would be. When we checked in, the front desk staff were so friendly and helpful. On the second day, we were able to log onto their free wi-fi but one of our devices was having difficulty. So when we were down in the lobby, we asked for assistance and the manager got in the elevator with us and came to our room and fixed the problem immediately! On the third day, we woke up and the TV wouldn't turn on. We called the front desk and they immediately sent Roxy (the Housekeeping Manager) up to us. First of all, she is sunshine friendly and fixed our TV in just a few minutes. She asked if she could do anything else for us or get us anything. She shook our hands and left us with a promise to help us with anything we needed. Wow! Customer service at its best! After the funeral arrangements were made, we asked the hotel if we could check out earlier than we had planned. No problem! They happily accommodated our request without additional change/cancellation charges. The breakfast is your typical hotel breakfast including omelets, breakfast meats, yogurt, cereal, toast and pastries. But Glenda took special care to cut up fresh fruit every morning and kept the dining room and food stations clean and tidy. The cranberry juice was watered down a bit but other than that, it was perfect! This hotel is clean, clean, clean! It's winter here in New England with slush and rock salt everywhere. But inside this hotel, even in the lobby, there wasn't a scuff mark, salt, mud or water anywhere! No fingerprints or smudges on counter tops, no dust in the doorway corners. We were on the 5th floor and there wasn't any old or musty odor that is usually present in older hotels. And no, it wasn't covered up by air fresheners either. Just really clean! The rooms are well appointed, comfortable, and clean. The staff are excellent in attitude, friendliness, and helpfulness. The hotel breakfast is more than enough in quantity and variety. The price is competitive for the area. That equals a great value! And for us, it made a difficult time so much easier. Thank you to all at the Holiday Inn Express. January 26, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by The Staff is the best asset that this hotel has! My stay at the Worcester Downtown Holiday Inn Express would have rated five stars. The Staff was the most professional, attentive, pleasant that I have ever experienced. The location of the hotel was great, rooms were well-maintained. What causes me to suggest that future visitors proceed with caution about staying here is the noise level of the heating system in the room. Loud and disruptive. Seems that it has been an ongoing problem for over a year yet despite statements that they were taking care of it, seems that nothing has been done. Only other thing is that it would be great to have some kind of limited food service availability at night. The Breakfast was excellent; but there was nothing to grab when returning to the hotel late and being too tired to go out! But, that was not promised and I knew this before booking. January 23, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable stay but billing issues NOT resolved My husband and I visited here just last week , all was well until we decided to extend our stay and was doube chaeged charged for that night. The manager (Holly R.) assured me they wouldn't bill my account but they did, then she assured me they would credit a refund within 3-5 business days which never happened. Very upset about this.
