The walls were so paper thin. I have never been able to hear neighbors talking and upstairs neighbors moving about all night before in my life.
Just felt like the hotel was built cheaply.
Bed sheets had a few dead gnats in them also. Other than that the place was clean. WE ONLY GOT 3-4 hours of sleep though!
THE WOMAN at the front desk was as efficient as they come. I did not get her name, but she is exactly what management wants in an employee. I was a GM and an Area supervisor for 7 years. She had an accent. Promote her, before someone snipes her from you.

This is a fairly typical HI Express venue. The lobby is not remarkably appointed, but clean and welcoming. The staff were all friendly and attentive. The indoor pool is a nice feature. Breakfast is nothing to get excited about, but if you travel frequently on business, you're accustomed to this type of spread: eggs, sausage and bacon, gravy and biscuits under heat lamps, pastries from a box, cereal dispensers, etc. There were some warm cinnamon rolls that were delicious.
The walk-in shower was installed so that the water ran AWAY from the drain, pooling up to near ankle-deep in the entry way to the shower. The parking spaces are small and limited. My second night I arrived to find no parking available, so I had to "invent" a parking spot in the driveway. I don't the think the hotel was at full capacity. There was a U-Haul van parked across 6 spaces, and a truck with a horse trailer parked across 7 spaces. Plus the customary inconsiderate "I'm entitled to two parking spots" drivers, who don't seem to understand what the problem is. Not sure what staff can do about that after the fact, but it should not be allowed.
