Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Steve922 Good value and comfortable room
This facility has recently been renovated. The renovation was more cosmetic than structural. Some things, like the shower door hinge, are still worn and shabby.
The wall-mounted A/C unit works well but is rather noisy.
The breakfast dining room staff was courteous and accommodating but somewhat overwhelmed by the number of guests in attendance - coffee pot empty, some hot food ran out at times.
Overall good value for the cost.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by JaDeGirL01 I had a great stay in Simi Valley.
I was in Simi Valley for my friend's wedding so I had to book a hotel for the night. I was able to check in early (before 3 pm) because they had enough rooms available. They also upgraded me from a 2-queen to a king room since I was an IHG member. The king room also had a jacuzzi tub in the room in addition to the regular amenities. The set of of the hotel is more like a motel that was converted since it has an uncovered courtyard with rooms facing the courtyard as well as rooms facing outwards. There's a pool area, fitness area, small breakfast room and a small "market" in the lobby. I requested a room away from the elevator and they obliged.
For the most part, if you're traveling through the area, this hotel is ok, but I wouldn't stay here long term. The room I had was clean, the flatscreen TV was nice, and the A/C was cold. The breakfast on Sunday was from 7 - 9:30 am with different hours for weekdays. The breakfast consisted of a buffet of cereal, eggs, turkey sausage, pancakes, cinnamon rolls, yogurt, fruit, coffee, tea, juices, milk, biscuits
