This is an absolutely beautiful location. I sat in the Tiki Bar on the beach and enjoyed the music provided by Blue Monday. Beautiful and clean beachfront.
That said, you need desperately to update your rooms! The room I was in had carpeting so badly worn you could see the floor through the holes. The rings were torn off and missing from the shower curtain. The bedspread was badly worn. You need to invest some money into this property to bring it up to a level that matches its location..

The service at the restaurant was very slow. I had to ask waiter three times for a glass of water while waiting for my food. What made me more upset it was not busy and there were only three tables that were being served.
I decided to go for a swim at the pool and there were no clean towels.
The maid service was not to par. One of towels had a yellow stain and the floor was not vacuumed.
My room did not have a cable station guide. The front desk said they were going to bring me one and they never did. The next day I went to front desk to get one and when I checked the cable guide it did not match. My TV just had regular channels.
I am Platinum Elite member and I am entitled for free upgrade if available. The front desk told me that the did not have upgrade availability. I check my Holiday In app and showed availability. With that the front desk person offered me a upgrade for a extra charge. I accepted it for the comfort.
This is my first time with Holiday Inn that I have not been pleased with my stay and I had to pay more.
I must admit that the pool was good and location is excellent.

The Beach House Hotel has the potential to be a great place to stay when upgrades are made to the guest rooms. Our room left much to be desired. Carpeting was worn and stained, and the room and bathroom overall just looked and felt very old. The only place to sit in the room, other than on the bed, was one upholstered chair and one small straight chair at a small round table. It did have a refrigerator and coffee pot, but would be nice to also have a small microwave. Location was the plus; loved the ocean front and pool view we had. Also the location across from Coligny Plaza where there are a variety of shops and restaurants.
We did not visit the restaurant or other areas of the hotel so cannot rate those. I thought the price was high for the quality of the rooms, especially since I prepaid several months in advance. There are signs posted that they are renovating so I would recommend once that is completed.

Location and grounds for this property were awesome. The pool area, the tiki bar area, the volley ball area, all were really really nice. Really enjoyed our time outdoors at this property. It really was a beautiful outdoor area, and within walking distance to shops, and places to eat, perfect location.
But if you are expecting clean rooms you should stay somewhere else. I read the reviews online prior to booking but we decided to chance it b/c we knew we would be outside the majority of the time. But the reviews are spot on when it comes to the lousy cleaning. For the price you pay you are paying for location and outdoor areas, the room is not what it should be for the price.
The sliding glass doors looked like they had been cleaned with a muddy rag. The bathroom floor had that pink scum around the tiles in the bathroom. There was hair and dark dirt and yuck in the corners of the bathroom. There were like 20 tiny dead nats stuck to the bathroom ceiling. The carpet was filthy I would not walk on it without socks or flip flops. The bedding was very wrinkled.The freezer part of the fridge was froze over and should have been defrosted. The entertainment center had strips of wood or pieces of it missing. Its just not what you expect when you pay that much for a room. You can tell when the rooms are cleaned it is nothing more than a quick wipe down. We came prepared because of the reviews online so I just brought Clorox wipes with me and cleaned surfaces myself. We just wanted the location and knew we wouldn't be spending a lot of time indoors so we didn't make a fuss. But the reviews are accurate they need to work with their cleaning staff b/c it appears the cleaning issue is not a priority. And I have read there will be renovations but just because there are plans for renovating should not prevent the staff from properly cleaning a room.
I will say any staff that we met were all very friendly. But for the price you pay its all about location and the outdoor area, there are several resorts in the area that are properly cleaned and way nicer rooms for the same price.
The band that played Saturday night was very good. I would recommend a stay here but with fair warning of the lack of cleaning.

I can't say enough good things about this place. Once you're settled into the room, you don't really even need a car. Everything is within walking distance. The beach is actually tied into Coligny beach which is just beautiful. It was the perfect balance of relaxation and entertainment. They had things for the kids to do and then without going 10 feet they had a live band and fun times tiki bar. My kids were thrilled with the pool! It's big enough for everyone and the staff makes it fun.
Also, the manager is off the charts. We saw him constantly, which means he's doing his job. I witnessed myself, without him seeing me, treating his employees with respect and he would hi-five my kid every time we saw him. His enthusiasm was contagious.
I can't wait to go back!!
