Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointing I could not use my points for this hotel. Our bathroom was dirty and had black mold above the shower, and there was a hole punched in the wall in our room. Also, the free drink coupon given to me for my loyalty as a Platinum member was only good for one of three cheap domestic beers or one of three wines. It made IHG look extremely cheap. May 24, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Mothers DAY escape Selected this location as short getaway for my wife. We brought her sister and her hisband for a 2 day getawy and relaxation. We took advantage of the Pool, tiki bar, and rented bicycles nearby for daily excursions. We also rode bikes on the beach during low tide, this was extremely enjoyable. we were able to secure the bikes at the hotel overnight. everyone was very accomodating. We have aleady begun discussing the return visit this summer when we can take more time to enjoy more ammenities the area has to offer. we will be back ! This visit was for the wives, next visit we will plan to do more. May 13, 2016

Thank you for your interest in the Holiday Inn Resort at Wrightsville Beach. We do have hair dryers in all guest rooms along with coffee makers, microwaves, refrigerators, irons, ironing boards, and an in room safe. Tammy, AGM

They should have started a couple of years ago. However they have not started renovation. They desperately need to renovate this hotel.
