Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by overall a great stay Have stayed at the Holiday Inn more than 30 times and love the staff and the location as well as the size of the rooms.We stay in the tower wing(not the beach wing). They are constantly making improvements to the hotel and we always have a great time. staff are lovely, friendly and attentive. If you have a problem, it is dealt with straight away. The General Manager is a great person who listens to his guests and takes on board what they say.Our real only complaint was the fact that staff, and others, were conducting protests in order to gain higher wages. This went on for 3 hours every afternoon from 3-6pm.For the entire three hours some 40 people blew loud horns non stop. I was told it will continue Mon- Fri until June 27th when the matter is going to arbitration. This was a very unpleasant time for all the guests.I really think the staff could have found a better way to protest that did not involve such discomfort and harassment of the guests.The Holiday In was not the only hotel to be affected by these protests.
