My wife chose this property based on the all inclusive nature and the competitive price. It's not the best property, but it was well worth the money and didn't feel like we skimped. Everything was very clean. The bed was more comfortable than expected and was just perfect. The food and drink was good, though a little more variety would have been preferred. I was hoping for more seafood, but that's a small issue. Otherwise, the food was tasty and good. The drinks were strong. We are ready to go back and will return to this destination.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by outstanding grounds and service
The location was beautiful and immaculately kept..the staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We had our rooms booked thru a timeshare company promotion and upon arrival saw the initial room reserved.Although it was fine, we requested a room closer to the children' s pool and a view of the ocean. For a reasonable upgrade fee they accommodated Us into a new room with an outstanding view instantly! The food was superb and the choices were endless.(some of the best seafood I've ever had!) I would recommend this resort to anyone looking for a good value for a family vacation in Los Cabo!

My wife & I had a great time at the Holiday Inn Los Cabos. The resort was a 15-20 minute drive from the Los Cabos airport using the toll road. Our room was quiet and clean apon arrival. If you like to snorkel the resort is conveniently located to Chileno Beach & Santa Maria Beach (15-20 minute drive). And, only a 30 minute drive to Cabo San Lucas. The staff at the hotel were nice and friendly. A few people I want to thank Raul - Front Desk, Arnaulfo - Waiter, Luis - Outside bar Oceanside & the pool entertainment staff (Thank you all for your hard work).. The food was mediocre but I must admit I gained at least 5 lbs. during our stay. I know most people at the resort stay all inclusive but do yourself a favor and tip a little. Try to stick with your same wait staff. The staff notices whose willing to tip a few bucks to get better service. We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to anyone looking to vacation on a budget.

It was a beautiful place, but we were disappointed in the room they assigned us. There were approximately 3-5 rooms w/o balcony or patio. and that is the one they assigned us. i feel we were forced to upgrade along with our friends. The staff was wonderful, the activities by the pool were enjoyable

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by MountainValley Great Location on the Beach
Holiday Inn Resort Los Cabos is right on the beach in Cabo San Jose. The beach is very wide and long there and the sound of the surf can be heard from the resort. The beach is great for walking and horseback riding but the ocean was off limits for swimming due to size of the surf. The resort has several pools that are nice for swimming. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Rooms are pleasant with nice mattresses. Pillows to hard for my taste. Food is good but not fine dining. Nature reserve next door is nice to walk to. Can also walk to artisan market and to the art/shopping district of old Cabo San Jose. Resort is only about a 15 minute ride from the airport. It was a good value for the money spent and I would be happy to visit again.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by olderyank very disappointing
stayed here many times in the past. now have mobility issues and asked in advance and was told ground floor room would be reserved. arrived and no elevators and given room on 3. Finally got that straightened out. Staff is great, but food has really gone down and is now almost inedible with almost all served from buffets and hot tables and NEVER HOT. Sent most back at least once, and ti returned with cold food and warm plate. Spoke to EOperaza and she said there was a temperature problem on the buffet but at the price charged that was their problem not mine.. Meethinks I will never return again and I am truly sorry and some of the staff are so friendly and almost family like. Hope they dont loose their jobs when people stop coming.. Did note that many fewer Americans and more Mexican guests, and was delighted that the economy permits them to pay the high prices, but wish it was higher quality food offered.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by JeromeV Renovated, comfortable All-inclusive
I've stayed at this resort before the hurricane last year, and the grounds are much improved with new structures and landscaping. The All-inclusive aspect is nice and a decent value for the price with all food/drinks included. Don't expect high quality, but the food/alcohol/variety is more than passable. A short taxi ride/20 min walk to San Jose del Cabo is worth a visit or two to grab dinner once you are tired of the resort food. The rooms are nice especially the ground floor rooms with the hammocks on the patio. Again, nothing spectacular, but comfortable and large enough. It's good for families, couples, with separate kids/family and adult pools. The beach and estuary are nice for walks (swimming is not permitted).
