Relaxing hotel
By Lawrence
Was nice and relaxing but the rooms didn’t have as much privacy as I thought from the view. [Less]
Loved that our room had its own hot-spring tub ( I believe all do at this property ) . Nicely decorated hotel and outside amenities ( fire-pit, picnic tables, foot spa bath while overlooking the [More] river ) . Very nice staff, but some lacked a thorough English ability at times which I needed . I think that can be expected at most hotels in Japan. [Less]
Modern Onsen, Fantastic Food
By Nycole
This hotel does a wonderful job of blending traditional Japanese Ryokan features with a modern, western-style hotel. The room was spacious and well designed and the private onsen was beautiful and [More] comfortable. The shared onsen was a special experience as it was co-ed friendly and required swimwear. This gave me and my partner more time together in this really calm environment. It has magical lighting, soothing music and spa jets that make for a very relaxing experience. The food was also very unique and delicious. Even though it's not traditional Japanese style food, I highly recommend having breakfast and dinner at the hotel. The food was top-notch! [Less]
