Featured Barcelona Hotels

As the capital of Catalonia and a former Olympic city, Barcelona is as global as it is a bastion of regional culture. With famous art collections, a wealth of outdoor markets and parks, and a delectable local cuisine, you'll find plenty of opportunities to relax and explore while in town. Discover all this fascinating city has to offer when you book a room at one of our boutique hotels in Barcelona, where the rooms are well-appointed and the staff is ready and waiting with helpful tips.

Barcelona is a highly walkable city with attractions tucked inside winding cobblestoned alleys and unexpected plazas that emerge suddenly between classical buildings. Begin your visit by taking a stroll through the Gothic Quarter, Ciutat Vella, where you'll find the somber but impressive Basilica of Santa Maria del Mar, the Guell Palace, the Picasso Museum and La Rambla, a wide, pedestrianized boulevard filled with shops and street performers.

For more artistic and historical adventures in other areas of the city, the Museu d'Art Contemporani de Barcelona and the Museu d'Història de la Ciutat are both musts. Here you'll find everything from Spain's best contemporary art to its ancient history. Head to the the Fundació Joan Miró, a museum as known for its innovative modern architecture as it is as the art on its walls. Or, for a taste of Gothic construction, the Sagrada Familia will impress even the most discerning architecture aficionado.

When you're looking to get outside, there's no better spot than Parc Güell. Designed by renowned architect, Antoni Gaudi, the park's many different paths wander up the main hill, winding past fanciful sculptures, mosaics, serpent benches, supportive columns shaped like tree trunks and secret stone nooks. Alternatively, take a dip in Barcelona's numerous beaches, including Barceloneta, Sant Sebastià and Sant Miquel, to name just a few. Bike paths are plentiful along the shoreline, so pack a picnic and pedal to your destination.

Looking for a good dose of retail therapy? El Portal de Àngel provides an ample array of new shops, while Maremagnum and L'illa curate more of a mall experience. For sports fans, an FC Barcelona match should definitely be on the itinerary, as should a trip to the Olympic Sport Museum. When the lights go down, Barcelona has much to offer. Enjoy cuisine sourced from around the world, or a traditional Catalan menu of the day, which generally features three courses. The Barceloneta and Gothic quarters, Eixample Esquerra and El Born are all full to the brim with restaurants ranging from cheap eats to five star sophistication. No matter what cuisine you go for tonight, be sure to try a good paella before you leave for an example of how to do it right. Once you're finished dining, find a good pub crawl for a nighttime tour of the city, head to a tapas or shots bar, or take in some jazz at a nearby music club.

The main Barcelona Airport welcomes visitors from across the world, and the city is also well-connected via high speed rail and bus. Delight in all that this dynamic city has to offer when you stay in a boutique hotel in Barcelona, where the staff are available 24-hours a day just like the city's revelers. With world class amenities and well-appointed rooms, you'll be sure to make the most of your stay when you book.

Latest Barcelona Hotel Reviews

Quality establishment
By MikeNZ20016
We chose this hotel because we are members of the hotel loyalty group. Although further out of Barcelona than we anticipated it was within walking distance to the train into the city. The staff were [More] very pleasant and helpful and all the reception staff spoke English which was great because we speak no Spanish. The rooms were adequate clean and tidy typical of a Holiday Inn Express hotel. Breakfast was again typical of what we expect for a Continental breakfast. It was plentiful with a good selection of food. Whilst there are no restaurants close by there is a supermarket next door from which we were able to get food for our evening meal. Would stay there again [Less]

clean and quiet

Everything was ok, even when the hotel was full of kids and tourists, and we choose it because of its quietness. The rooms were well isolated, clean and not noisy. The staff was excelent, really [More] helpful. The hotel isnt fancy, maybe a pool could be nice. But the price would increases a lot. The train station is a five minuts walk, then you can visit Barcelona in a 20 min travel without the car. [Less]

Good business hotel
By ReadyToTravelChris
Good location, central to many of the businesses and technology park. Breakfast was a good average with a few changes each morning to keep it interesting. Only inconsistency was the hot water in the [More] shower. [Less]
Indigo Barcelona

This is a beautiful hotel in a great convenient location. Unfortunately we stayed while they were remodeling. The hammering, chiseling, and jackhammering each morning was very disturbing. However, [More] we would return as typically this appears to be a very very nice facility. [Less]
One long layover in Barcelona
By sammaazo
We booked this hotel because it looked great on the IHG website. The hotel is very modern and the staff was extremely amicable. The room was very comfortable and big, particularly since hotel rooms [More] in Europe tend to be small. Our only disappointment was that we were able to use the pool because it had already closed when we arrived at the hotel. It closes at 7 pm which to us is way too early particularly in the summer.
