Featured Liverpool Hotels

As the birthplace of a number of iconic bands -- Gerry & the Pacemakers, Frankie Goes to Hollywood and, oh yeah, The Beatles -- Liverpool has long been recognized as one of the world's top musical incubators. However, its status as a port city has also fashioned Liverpool into a diverse destination, imbuing the city with a host of intriguing cultural, artistic and dining options. Stay at one of our distinctive boutique hotels in Liverpool and you'll be ideally placed to explore all this vibrant city has to offer.

In terms of British cities, Liverpool didn't become a major player until the 19th century, when transatlantic trade became a main economic driver. Not surprisingly given its role as a crossroads for innovations and ideas as well as goods, the city has given rise to a number of important firsts, and even pioneered the world's first skyscraper. Explore this fascinating history and more at the World Museum Liverpool, the Merseyside Maritime Museum, and the International Slavery Museum. Or, for a review of more contemporary pop culture history, a tour of the Beatles Story or a modern art or dance performance at the Bluecoat are just the place to head.

While you're on your art kick, the Victoria Gallery and Museum, Sudley House, the Static Gallery, the Tate Liverpool and the Wolstenhome Creative Space are sure to satisfy, boasting fine collections of historical, folk and contemporary art. Alternatively, taking a stroll past the Royal Liver Building, St. George's Hall, the Liverpool Cathedral, Princes Road Synagogue will provide an excellent look at the city's varied architectural history, from Greco-Roman facades to Gothic and Moorish building styles.

Fans of Downton Abbey will enjoy getting their outdoor fix at Croxteth Hall and Country Park, a once vast estate with ample grounds and historical buildings to explore. And of course, for sports aficionados, catching an Everton or Liverpool football (soccer) game is a must, as they are two of the most respected, popular and storied teams in the sport today.

While in town, you won't want to miss the opportunity sneak in a little retail therapy. Situated in the heart of London, the Metquarter provides all of the high end brands you could wish for, while the Bluecoat will provide a little more quirk for your retail adventures. The relatively new Liverpool One is also not to be missed, with three levels of shopping and entertainment.

As the lights go down, choose from diverse cuisine offerings in the particularly bopping City Centre, Lark Lane and Seel Street areas. Pizza, noodle spots, and eclectic Asian offerings all abound, as do a surplus of classic pubs serving fish and chips. Once you've dined, choose from theaters, comedy venues, and music clubs for a lively evening. The Liverpool Empire Theatre and Philharmonic Orchestra Hall are always bound to have something good on, but you're much more likely to discover the next John Lennon in a tucked away club.

Liverpool is well connected to the rest of the UK via boat, train, bus and air. Guarantee a friendly greeting once you debark by booking into a boutique hotel in Liverpool. With world class amenities, well-appointed rooms and a staff that aims to please, you'll have the trip of a lifetime when you book today.

Great staff
By patster
We arrived early but no problem, we were greeted with a smile and upgraded which was a nice suprise. We were allocated one of our 3 rooms. Staff very efficient and helpful at checkin. Beds extremely [More] comfortable and rooms great. We ate at the grill restaurant and the food was very good. The restaurant staff are a credit to the company. Breakfast was great, loads of great choices and again service was very efficient and we were served with a smile. [Less]
A Suprisingly Friendly Stay
By Kurt
Situated in not the most attractive part of Chester, the hotel was very close to all the necessary amenities. Once inside the hotel, although very aesthetically pleasing, the format was a little [More] confusing. The Staff were all very polite and the hotel was clean. Although the rooms were comfortable, the walls are thin and the curtains let quite a lot of the morning light through denying any late risers. [Less]

By Tarababe
A very nice hotel, room was reasonably modern with a lovely shower and was clean with a comfortable bed. It was quiet and had a good choice of TV channels. The room service menu looked very nice with [More] a lot of choice compared to other Hotels of similar size and rating, but we didn't try it unfortunately. We did have the breakfast and although there was a good choice the cooked food sadly was very greasy. The staff are lovely and there is a Starbucks coffee area inside although I'm not sure it's exactly the same quality but it was nice. I would stay here again and would certainly recommend it. [Less]
Excellent location

Excellent location for acces to Chester, Chester Zoo and Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet. There is a park and ride close by which was £2 each return into Chester. The zoo and Designer Outlet are an [More] easy 10 to 15 minutes drive although the park and ride does also go to Chester Zoo. Next to the hotel is a Spar Supermarket and Greggs so you don't need to worry about bringing a picnic for the zoo as you can buy fresh sandwiches there. Breakfast was excellent with a good range of both hot and cold food. We didn't eat in the hotel as it isnt cheap. We found a nearby Brewers Fayre within 10 minutes drive. Would definitely return.
