Latest Basking Ridge Hotel Reviews

home away from home
By Sadie508
My floors were being refinished and I needed to find somewhere to stay for a few nights - that would accept pets. My hair salon suggested the Holiday Inn Express which another customer had used. I [More] was delighted to find that they do indeed accept pets. Once there, I was happy to find a clean room with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast selection was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. What a great place! [Less]
Great location and newer hotel in the area
By BarbEreview
I'm originally from the area and was returning for a visit. I was glad to find this newer hotel and the location and access to the main highways was excellent. Hotel was clean, breakfast had plenty [More] of choices and there was also a grocery store close by. Hotel was quiet and there was a small lake behind the hotel that my window opened on to. Although I did not use the indoor pool it looked like a nice amenity. Parking was free and there were plenty of spaces. Will definitely use this hotel again when visiting the area. I wish I knew about this hotel sooner. [Less]

Clean and Elegant hotel with friendly staff
By JohnDoe1009
The front desk staff were warm and welcoming, they upgraded me to a suite, unfortunately smelled like cigarette, but the hotel staff immediately resolved the issue and put me up in a good room. The [More] bed was comfortable and the linens were super clean. The breakfast buffet was not a big spread, but whatever they had tasted amazing [Less]

Ongoing improvements

I have stayed here before and give it generally good reviews. But, they are still renovating and the guest rooms are spartan and definitely need redecorating. I think a room with two beds needs two [More] comfortable chairs with decent lighting. A light was out over the vanity in the bathroom. Why didn't housekeeping take care of that when they cleaned the room? The hotel has everything you could need, but the rooms need a boost. [Less]
