This Hotel Indigo is clean and staff is friendly. Neighborhood is beautiful but the decor doesn't reflect it in any noticeable way. In fact, the decor appears exactly like the midtown Atlanta location.
My rewards club membership number wasn't included in my reservation so I had to have that added after I checked in and I think I got a less than ideal room because of it. I stayed in 404 immediately opposite the elevators. I was too tired to try and switch and was DELIGHTED to discover it didn't impact my sleep whatsoever. Noise was never an issue. But I did notice that two rooms higher up were supposed to be clean but weren't ready when I checked in. Things happen and I was traveling for work so I didn't mind.
Overall, this hotel could use some freshening up but it's clean and efficient and the staff is friendly.

The rooms were very nice except the view out the windows. Very dark and dreary. Couldn't tell if it was night or day.

We've stayed at Hotel Indigo several times now and this time it was terrific. It's a great location, in a perfect neighborhood for walking, and wonderful restaurants are near by. The subway is about two or three blocks away, plus a drug store, a Starbucks (of course), and a Barnes and Nobles. Our room was on the 11th floor, and it was quiet and comfortable. I would describe the décor as quirky, but fun.

The room décor sent a mixed message with its nice seaside prints and two very large murals of a blue cable knit sweater. The base boards had chipped paint, the snap in floor was delaminating, and the bathroom counter was chipped. The cable service was terrible with the movie we were watching pixalizing and stopping repeatedly. The room was crowded and there was no where in the bathroom to lay our toiletries. There was no room for a suitcase in the closet and both suitcases would not fit on the bench at the bottom of the bed. The bed was uncomfortable. The restaurant had large murals of fruit--apples, pineapples, etc. which did not match the nice blue walls and seaside prints. We had to pay for breakfast. We won't be staying at this brand of hotel again.
