This is by far the worst stay at a hotel that I have ever experienced. We decided to valet park each day we were there, instead of park in the parking garage. Either way you choose, it's spendy. The hotel was very nice looking when you walked in, but it smelt like sewer the entire time in the front. The check in was super easy and the front desk people were nice. Got our room key and went to the room. The rooms are very nice decorated, but so so small. Bathroom was extremely small too. We had a coffee pot in the room that didn't work, it was missing a piece to the machine for it to work. We never got a replacement one after telling room service. Breakfast was nice, but you had to go down and get it and there was always a super long line. Trying to sleep was absolutely the worst part of it. The walls are literally as paper thin as you can get. I heard the entire conversation to the people next to us. I could tell you their ring tone, the brand of blow dryers they were talking about, etc. I will never ever stay at this hotel ever again. When you pay the amount of money this hotel cost, you would think getting a good nights rest would've been the one thing you received, you will not get it. The doorway didn't even close all the way, so we had the lights from the hallways coming through the door cracks all night and every time someone shut their room door or opened it, we heard it. Trying to check out, there was only one person working the desk and a line of people. He was answering phones, checking out guests and trying to assist people walking up to the front desk as well. I would for sure look for another hotel.

Very friendly staff.Valet was very helpful in reccommending restaurants. The location was great for us because we were going to a concert at the Majestic Theater across the street.

Stay somewhere else! You'll thank me later! Historic Hotels done well are nice. Historic Hotels done badly are just old.

The hotel provides the wow factor when you walk through the front door. The interior decorating was done in such a fun fashion. The staff was friendly and helpful.
The bathroom could have been a bit cleaner but overall acceptable. My one major complaint is that the mattress has a plastic cover under the sheets. This made for a very warm sleeping environment.

The hotel is a Historic building so yes it is old but it's being remodeled. The rooms and bathroom can be cleaner, maybe the cleaning personnel need a bit of training, specially the floors but if you request a refresh the maid will do.
Overall it is a great place to stay, good value, well located with lots of good restaurants close by and best of all, the staff provide an excellent service including the valet parking guys, I ran out of cash couple times and they helped us with the same care every time.

My husband and I appreciated the overall experience of our stay at this hotel. We could walk downtown easily and safely. We requested our vehicle from valet and the transition was quick and kind. We used the hotel van for transportation a few times and were treated kind and quickly also. Our room was always clean and had a clean smell when we returned from our day. Again the complete staff was very kind and helpful. Thank you!
