Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 OK Room but smelly reception This hotel offered nothing great. The room was OK, the bartender OK/good, the gym poor, the lifts dirty, the overall experience tired. The foyer stank and the reply to my concerns was "yeah, it has been like that for a long time". I could not recommend this hotel to the other members of my company travelling to Dallas. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable Bed, tired furniture Got in late on a business trip and was intent on getting to bed and heading off in the morning. The room was a little "tired" - the furniture was not what I'd expect for a downtown hotel and seemed more appropriate for an all-inclusive beach resort. The flooring had been updated but didn't match the room. The bed, however, was comfortable and had the best chenille blanket and decent pillows. The AC made the living area cold but didn't quite make it to the bedroom. Staff were super friendly. Didn't try the breakfast or anything else. March 26, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Book Somewhere Else This is by far the worst stay at a hotel that I have ever experienced. We decided to valet park each day we were there, instead of park in the parking garage. Either way you choose, it's spendy. The hotel was very nice looking when you walked in, but it smelt like sewer the entire time in the front. The check in was super easy and the front desk people were nice. Got our room key and went to the room. The rooms are very nice decorated, but so so small. Bathroom was extremely small too. We had a coffee pot in the room that didn't work, it was missing a piece to the machine for it to work. We never got a replacement one after telling room service. Breakfast was nice, but you had to go down and get it and there was always a super long line. Trying to sleep was absolutely the worst part of it. The walls are literally as paper thin as you can get. I heard the entire conversation to the people next to us. I could tell you their ring tone, the brand of blow dryers they were talking about, etc. I will never ever stay at this hotel ever again. When you pay the amount of money this hotel cost, you would think getting a good nights rest would've been the one thing you received, you will not get it. The doorway didn't even close all the way, so we had the lights from the hallways coming through the door cracks all night and every time someone shut their room door or opened it, we heard it. Trying to check out, there was only one person working the desk and a line of people. He was answering phones, checking out guests and trying to assist people walking up to the front desk as well. I would for sure look for another hotel. March 26, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Quaint Boutique Hotel The hotel provides the wow factor when you walk through the front door. The interior decorating was done in such a fun fashion. The staff was friendly and helpful. The bathroom could have been a bit cleaner but overall acceptable. My one major complaint is that the mattress has a plastic cover under the sheets. This made for a very warm sleeping environment. March 22, 2015
