Soaring 368 meters (1,207 feet) into the sky, the Fernsehturm or television tower embodies the city’s history. Originally built in the late 1960s to broadcast GDR television programming, the tower became a symbol of the reunited Berlin in 1990. Located just steps from our boutique hotel in Berlin, visitors can travel 203 meters (666 feet) in 40 seconds via high-speed elevators to the observation level. The 360° panorama offers a dazzling view of the city by day and night.
