Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Could've been better I've had previous visits prior and they blew my mind away but this visit was very disappointing the staff wasn't as helpful the food was blah! Even the front desk seemed to ignore my calls after I called for help only once no one answered actually from room service to the restuarant and all the voicemails were full we were rushed to check out and after reaching our vehicle I realized the clock in the room was faster than the actual time! Jerry the manager wasn't present to speak to but I believe had he been there my stay would've been much better. The bar associate was amazing though September 25, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fantastic stay my family and i stay at this hotel and our stay was great, the front desk that check us in help me to get a room with 2 bed since at the time of my booking i book a room with one bed . the clerk gave me a Suite A 2117 the view was really nice and everything was good on the room . i stay 7 day here the only inconvinience i had was that i ask for a microwave since i just gave birth to a girl i need to warm the milk . we ask the front desk if we can have a microwave but i was dissapointed that i never got one . but my stay was fantastic. patricia was great on providing me extra towels one time that my room was not clean. i recommend this property to everyone August 31, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Service and staff attitude cannot be better Room was very comfortable, however on morning of departure there was only warm bathroom water, not hot. It was hot the night before. Great staff, especially at bar/restaurant. Bar/ restau rant lighting needs improvement as does the menu, Food is acceptable but appears to come from a commissary kitchen and is finished in the bar kitchen before serving. Bottled water in rooms would be a great addition as the hotel is not close to other shopping. August 26, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by my thoughts on the Indigo My wife raves about her experiences at the Jacksonville Indigo. That, however, is apparently a brand new property whereas the Miami Indigo is a rehabbed hotel. First off, I don't like hotels that have multiple buildings. I like to be in one building with the office, vending machines, etc.. The Miami Indigo has several buildings spread out over a very lush landscape (the landscaping is nice#, but again, I prefer one building. I could not get the room cool enough for my comfort. The aging AC was not adequate. I like it cool. The wireless service was abysmal. It was so slow, they might as well have had NO wireless. I have a brand new laptop, and I could not get any work done with their wireless. The morning breakfast was not included in the room rate #which is fine with me), but when I did agree to pay the $9 or so to access the buffet, I found little or nothing that I wanted to eat. Well done steamed/baked fried eggs are not my thing. The only think that made breakfast a success is that one of the employees noticed how little I ate and comped my breakfast. Kudos. Finally, I found that staff was too aggressive about wanting to flip the room, pushing for me to checkout prior to checkout time. I would not choose this hotel again as I obtain more comfort and value at other brands. August 23, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Tolle Überraschung Unsere erste Buchung in einem Indigo. Der erste Eindruck war toll und dies blieb auch so. Ein "junges" Hotel mit viel Charm und Stil. Unser Zimmer im B-Block war größer als gedacht und wir fühlten uns direkt sehr wohl. Die Dusche ist riesig und hatte Massagefunktion und Regenduschkopf. Zum Abendessen wollten wir erst auswärts, sind aber dann im Hotel geblieben. Richtige Entscheidung: faire Preise und für den kleinen Hunger am Abend richtig gut. Beim Zubettgehen ist uns aufgefallen, dass eine Matratze nass war. Ob vom Vorgänger oder durch das Dach?? Auf jeden Fall wurden wir unkompliziert in ein anderes Zimmer gebucht, mit Upgrade (noch etwas größer) und direkt am Innenhof. Der zeigte seine tropische Flora am nächsten Morgen. Schade, dass wir nur eine Nacht hier waren. Gerne hätten wir den großen Pool noch einmal genutzt. In Summe absolut empfehlenswert!! July 19, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Good place for pets Pool is filled with the neighboring apartment complex residents, and the Internet is absolutely the worst a hotel could have other than none. That said, this is a great place to go if you have dogs. The rooms are very dated and furniture is not comfortable, but the sheets are clean and the staff is very nice. We have stayed here 6 weeks over the past year due to my job, and they have a lot of work to do, but its a decent place to stay but a bit pricey for the accommodations. Overgrown fore station and very tall grass... I think they fired the landscapers. July 10, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A HIDDEN GEM!!! From the moment we arrived, we loved this place. We travel to Miami several times during the year for pleasure. Hotels can be hit or miss. But I trust the Hotel Indigo name as we have one in our town and it is a very nice place. This Hotel Indigo is in a great spot as far as close to major highways, however, it is in a quiet, wooded area that feels a world away from the craziness of Downtown Miami and Miami Beach. Very peaceful and serene. The staff is great. Shout out to Daniel, he was so professional and friendly. He was efficient at checking us in (early!) and gave us some helpful information about the area. He also signed us up for the Priority Club which I should have done a long time ago. All the staff we encountered was terrific. Our room was colorful, fun, nicely appointed, modern and most importantly, CLEAN! Loved the balcony, flat sacreen on the wall and the roomy bathroom. Offering Aveda products a plus for this Minnesota girl, thank you! The pool area and grounds are lush with tropical foilage. Feels like being on a tropical island. And we live in Florida, so it's a little harder to impress us with the "Florida" feel. It's quiet too. We had the pool to ourselves that night, but it is a bigger pool so even if it was busy, I think there is room for everyone. And even though it is in a residential area, it is nearby to anything you may need as for as stores and restaurants. We prefer to stay away from loud, busy areas so this was perfect. And we are also not big on the beach, so that fact that this is not right near the beach, we were fine with. In fact, Ibecause of the loud, crazy tourists at the beach, we don't ever stay near beaches. But this hotel is less than a half hour easy ride to the beaches if that is important to someone. So as you can tell, we loved this hotel. It has a warm, comfy feel to it and we will always consider this as our go-to hotel now when we visit. What a great find!!! June 7, 2013

When I leave in the morning all I like is a cup of coffee. Every Holiday Inn I have ever been to offers coffee in the morning for people on the go. April 22, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 You WANT to stay here... I recently stayed at Hotel Indigo for about 2 weeks for training and wish I could've stayed longer!! The entire staff (front desk and restaurant) was amazingly accommodating and extremely friendly. I would recommend Hotel Indigo to anyone that wanted to have the most amazing vacation in Miami Lakes EVA!! Also, they have a constant supply of candies at the front desk... Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Quiet and comfortable Nice hotel, would stay there again if we were in the area. The only thing I would do on the next visit is to insist that the room is made up earlier than their normal time. After being at the beach all day we were looking forward to coming back to the room and shower and relax before leaving for a dinner reservation. At 4:00 pm they had not made it to our room yet. Housekeeping came in and freshened our bed, but didn't do the bathroom since my wife was in there showering. The next time I will insist the room is made up no later than 1:00. This must be a thing they do on a regular basis. When we checked in the front desk had to make a few calls to see if the room was ready, by his actions and I am sure they room they were going to put us in wasn't ready, but another was given to us right away. Good Value based on other hotels in the area. February 17, 2013

The location makes it ideal to tour Miami, as we as visiting family in the Hollywood-Lauderdale area. The staff was SUPER friendly; the rooms were clean, large and comfortable; and the location was good - close to 826 and I-75. November 23, 2012

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Gave up and left hotel on 1st night Checked in and shower was broken. We tried to get the front desk clerk to change our room but were ignored. Kept following up with him but were told he was too busy with guests checking in to help us. After hours went to front desk in person and ws told to go back to our room and meet an attendant who would move us. Did NOT happen and 45 minutes later called front desk to check and was told he has been too busy (again). Told him we had enough and were leaving for somewhere else with a working shower. It was mow 9:45 pm and we just wanted to shower and get some rest after traveling all day. Have bee trying for 10+ days now to get my refund but no response from the hotel. We had become fans of the Indigo brand after staying in Jacksonville many times. This hotel is an absolute disgrace to the Indigo brand!! November 4, 2012

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Hotel Indigo - Miami Lakes The overall appearance of the hotel displays modern touches and a comfortable atmosphere. The large rooms are very inviting. The breakfast is comparable to Holiday Inn Express, including the cardboard flavored eggs. The only difference is that you have to pay for the breakfast at Hotel Indigo. The restaurant on the grounds (Shula's Steakhouse) was delicious, clean, and a great experience. My bathroom room was plagued with ants (and one of my traveling companions had roaches in his room). This leaves the cleanliness of the hotel in question. Wireless network connectivity was horrible and the wired connection in my room did not work. September 10, 2012

Upon check-in the rep wasn't aware of the incentives of the Priority Club Member. BUT when I brought it to the front desk attention the following morning - the staff was extremely professionally and displayed great customer services skills. The guest manager addressed my concerns and was very apologetic. He extended me an offer to return as a guest for the opportunity to make my experience better. August 8, 2012
