Convenient but loud

The hotel and room itself were very nice, as were the staff. The biggest critique I have about this hotel is the lack of sound-proofing. It sits right next to a busy highway, and all night you can hear the traffic in your room. The internal sound-proofing didn’t seem much better, as there was one night I could hear one of our neighbors on the hallway out in the hallway just chatting away and even when they eventually went into their room. Would I stay here again? Maybe.

The hotel is in a convenient location. It is right off the main highway and close to some amazing restaurants. IF the weather is good, you can walk to some of them. The place is in a quiet neighborhood and the staff is friendly. The best part of our stay was their cafe/restaurant. The staff there was amazing and the food was too. Though it was raining, the view of the rain during breakfast was serene.

We visited Napa Winery 2-3 times a year and stayed at Indigo Hotel for our visits.
Hotel is located nearly the winery, great restaurants and my favorite bakery (Bouchon Bakery).

The hotel staff was not very friendly, the rooms are so so clean, breakfast is pretty poor! So no I will definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone

Excited to book again here. It’s a well run hotel. Love the rooms, bathroom and feel. Great customer service. Enjoyed a glass of wine and breakfast which I had not done before. I had the welcome drink and breakfast rate. The oatmeal was fab. There are several cooked choices too. Wish this brand was more predominant in CA.

great base to explore NAPA. Great breakfast and super easy to get on Highway 29. The city of NAPA is close for groceries- Trader Joe Whole food and great downtown bakeries and tasting rooms

I frequently travel for work and typically book through IHG hotels, mainly Holiday Inn Express, because of their point system and their widespread availability in the towns I visit. For a recent four-day work trip to Napa, I decided to stay at Hotel Indigo, hoping for a slightly more upscale experience compared to my usual Holiday Inn stays—after all, it’s Napa!
Unfortunately, my experience didn’t live up to expectations. When I arrived, the greeting at the front desk was underwhelming. The lobby was empty, and while I don’t expect over-the-top service, I do value a warm welcome—especially as someone who has now reached Gold status with IHG after many stays this year.
I asked about the hotel restaurant since I was too tired to go out for dinner. I was told it closed at 10 p.m., which was perfect as it was only 7 p.m. I dropped off my things in my room and returned to the restaurant, only to find it empty. The same front desk attendant arrived a few minutes later but didn’t immediately acknowledge me. I had to ask if the restaurant was actually open, which felt awkward.
Despite being the only customer, it took about 10 minutes for her to return and take my order. I understand delays if the front desk is busy or the restaurant is full, but neither was the case. The menu was simple—just one page of drinks and one page of food—so I quickly decided on a burger, thinking it would be a safe choice. I requested it medium, but it arrived overcooked and well done. I didn’t complain and ate it anyway. For dessert, I ordered cheesecake, which was unfortunately frozen solid. Again, I didn’t complain, as this was my first night, and I didn’t want to risk creating tension for the rest of my stay.
The room itself was clean, which I appreciated, but the layout was unusual. The light switch was oddly tucked into the closet, making it hard to locate in a dark room. The space felt cramped, with limited room to set up the ironing board near an outlet. While the towels and soap were well-stocked, the trash cans didn’t have liners, which was inconvenient.
To add to the disappointment, the hotel charges $10 per day for parking in a lot that provides no additional security or amenities. For a property that bills itself as boutique, this fee felt unnecessary and out of place, especially considering the lack of enhanced parking features.
Would I stay here again? If it’s for work and I’m focused on earning IHG rewards points, probably. However, if I were visiting Napa for leisure, I’d likely choose a different hotel for a true boutique experience.

Nice hotel room, very clean, comfortable bed and friendly staff. However, I was surprised to be charged for parking. This was not disclosed when the reservation was made. Although parking was not expensive, I was just surprised that we were charged for parking. My wife and I have stayed at hotels, motels and bed-and-breakfast places throughout the Napa Valley over the past 40 years. I can’t recall ever being charged for parking in the Napa Valley at a hotel/motel/bed-and-breakfast. Also, surprised the room DNH a refrigerator or microwave. There was a location for a refrigerator, but no refrigerator.
An updated property that was clean and welcoming.

We needed a room in Napa at the last minute, and we found this hotel to be very welcoming, clean and updated. The staff was friendly and professional. I would recommend this property if your in the Napa area and need a place to stay.
