We stayed here for two nights and it has been wonderful. From cleanliness of the room, kitchen supplies, toiletries etc were great. Originally I booked a double room but when we arrived the manager informed us that due to unexpected changes, they had to give us a single bed room since the double room wasn't available anymore. Oscar- the manager was excellent enough to gave us another single room with the same amenities with no charge. We appreciate his sincerity and apologies. We loved the fact how this hotel is very pet friendly. And the recognition they gave me as an IHG Rewards Club Member. There's a lot of space around the area outside where you can walk your dogs plus the surroundings were very clean. We highly recommend this place!

I love the new Candlewood Design! Feels so much more modern and upgraded compared with the previous design. Beautiful colors! The 1 Bedroom Suite was clean and spacious.

The property is basic as far as amenities but clean and good service! Front desk staff was helpful. We needed the door latch fixed when we arrived and it was repaired immediately. We were happy with our stay!

Candlewood Suites Alexandria Fort Belvoir offers comfortable accommodations with friendly service. The rooms are clean and well-equipped, ideal for extended stays. Convenient location near Fort Belvoir and Washington, D.C. Highly recommended for both business and leisure travelers.

A great location close to Washington DC.
The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.
The kitchen area was clean, organized and fairly complete.
Laundry machines were free, the fitness room clean.
The cleaning staff was efficient and the front desk responsive.
Definitely a great place to stay.

The room was very clean, including the bathroom area. Linen was clean as well.
Bed was supportive, no aching back. The room was reasonably priced, front desk representative was polite, aknowleged IHG status

Enjoyed my stay. Easy access to and from the property. Close to Fort Belvoir for military personnel as well as apporx 15 mins to the Springfield metro station.

Great hotel. Kudos to the ownership that spent the money to renovate this property to brand new condition. When coming into a hotel people say was recently renovated there is always skepticism on what that really looks like, especially when the bathrooms are concerned. Well in my eyes this is a brand new property. Great job

Stay at this location often. Room was fairly comfortable. Only issue was the bathroom toilet seemed to be clogged with something and every time it was flushed the water would continously run for awhile afterwards.
Service with a smile…noisy but comfortable.

This place is great if you are in the area and need a place to lay down your head. The hotel has been recently renovated so there are some quirks that come with that but otherwise it is GREAT! The hotel itself is small and can be noisy at time due to the constant sound of doors slamming. However the staff is amazing. I was greeted every time I walked into the hotel with a smile and felt like family. Buyer beware there is no breakfast available however there is coffee all day….although it did run out for three days during my stay.

We were pleased with our stay at Candlewood Suites in Fort Belvoir, Va. The hotel was nice and clean upon entering the hotel and throughout. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was layed-out nicely, so we didn't feel cramped and the bed was very comfortable. The kitchen area was a huge plus, and one of the reasons we chose this hotel....that & the way the rooms looked brand new.
