My room heater could not go above 65°F. So the manager quickly relocated to a nearby room where the heater worked great.

Good location for interstate travel. Very good restaurant at T.H. garden patch. Visit the painted churches.

This hotel in Ft. Stockton, TX was a good pet friendly hotel. It was in need of some updates and maintenance but the staff was friendly and helpful. Room AC fan was noisy and couldn't be turned off. The bed was firm and not comfortable for us but it's hard to find a bed more comfortable than your own. Location was good. Eady on and off I-10. We were disappointed there wasn't breakfast. But there's a McDonald's less than 5 minutes away by foot.
Who uses Direct TV?

Despite many complaints, this hotel has still used Direct TV for over a year. The receptionist stated she has received numerous concerns since Direct TV stopped carrying the FOX sports channels. No world series? Who does that?
No A/C

Upon entering the room it was very warm and the A/C would not turn on. After being asked if I knew how to operate an A/C unit and assuring that I did then the front desk person agreed to come “check it” after doing the equivalent of kicking it and saying “sometimes this happens” and blaming management for not replacing the units. We wound up staying at a Hotel in basically the same parking lot and had a great experience!

The room was clean, but outside of property not so much w/wild cats out front of property. No free breakfast, yet hallways a bit dusty due to location.
Stay away from this hotel.

I don’t recommend this hotel at all. Everything is dirty and outdated.

Hotel staff greeted me kindly and thanked me for being a IHG Gold reward member. Room was nice and clean. Parking (especially for semis) is very accommodating. Easy access to eating locations and the interstate.
