Jeremy was welcoming, professional and just a great person. You are lucky to have him .the place is older and the staff worked hard to make our stay comfortable.

Super disappointed. Pillows were so hard I kept waking up to my face hurting. Got this hotel for the free breakfast and got told they wont offer it.

This hotel completely shocked me in a great way. I stayed for a few nights while visiting family. It's right off the highway, and next to a Denny's and a couple of gas stations. Whataburger is just down the street, as well. This hotel feels liked it's tucked away from the rest of Maurine street, so it's nicer. The staff here are all really friendly and they seem to like being there. They have so many amenities that I didn't expect: complimentary drink/snack, books/games/movies/crockpots can be checked out during your stay, complimentary washer/dryers, and fitness center. The bed was so comfortable, the room was really clean and didn't have a weird smell like some hotels often have. It was pretty quiet; however, my room was facing the field/neighborhood, so I don't know what it's like in other areas. Parking was so easy, and very well-lit. Water pressure in the shower is on the weaker side, but the water temp was fine. The pet relief area outside was well-kept, and there's plenty of grassy areas to walk your dog(s). They provide a cart in the mornings with simple breakfast items (cereal bars, juices, muffins). Housekeeping has done a great job inside of this hotel, but I will say that they were a bit noisy in the mornings with their vacuums hitting walls and whatever else they were doing. This hotel will definitely be my go-to for when I'm in town. The only thing missing is a pool/jacuzzi!

We were greeted as soon as we walked in and treated with friendliness and a sense of humor, exactly what we needed after a six hour drive. The bed was clean and comfortable, the kitchenette served our needs, especially with a crockpot we could borrow for free. We have other business in Wichita Falls and we will stay at Candlewood Suites when we return!

In the last 50+ years, I have stayed in ALL of the major motel chains, some short-term, some long-term, and very many of the minor motels. Of all the motels I have stayed in, this motel and its Manager and the staff members here are, without question, the most wonderful I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing.
I really like being treated with kindness and respect and the Manager staff and housekeepers here at this motel have always treated me with the utmost kindness and respect.
My thanks to the owner(s) of this property.
The suite at Candlewood was like being at home.

We were very happy when we entered the room and saw this large, clean, comfortable suite with king bed, sofa, recliner, two TVs one in the bedroom, and one in the living room. The bathroom was large, clean, and well lighted. The kitchen was spotless and the bed and pillows were of very high quality and very comfortable. The wifi was fine, (but not secure, and I had a difficult time with my VPN which slows the wifi down). The TV channels were not for me, but others people might love the channels. Overall, we will stay at a Candlewood Suite when ever there is one available when we travel.

To be completely honest, we ended up staying at this hotel because the one we originally wanted was sold out. I spent a lot of time researching different options, and some of the reviews had me a bit concerned! For us, the hotel experience is really important—if it's dirty or uncomfortable, it completely ruins our stay.
When we first arrived, I was impressed by the decor. You could tell a lot of thought went into making the space look beautiful and cozy. The front desk attendant was incredibly sweet, friendly, and professional. I didn’t catch her name, but I know she had a 3-year-old because when I asked about local things to do, she mentioned her baby. I was really impressed with her service.
As we walked from the elevator to our room, I was feeling a little nervous, but once we entered the room, I knew we’d made the right choice. The room smelled fresh, there was plenty of space, and to my surprise, it had everything I needed to prepare my Thanksgiving meal. We had packed our car full of cooking supplies, but once we saw the room, we realized we didn’t need anything we brought! I recommend calling ahead to confirm exactly what the room has so you don’t end up bringing extra stuff like I did. Everything is now sitting in the closet unused!
We had to ask for more chairs because there were only two in the room. The gentleman who helped us was also very friendly and accommodating. He quickly brought us two extra chairs so we could all enjoy our Thanksgiving dinner together.
The beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable—we slept like babies! The room was spotless, and I honestly have no complaints. The only minor thing I would note is that the TV is a bit small. It's not necessarily tiny, but because the room is so spacious, it’s a little hard to see from the beds.
One more thing I thought was a great touch: they offer board games, slow cookers, and other cooking supplies to borrow.
Overall, I’m really happy with our stay. Yes, it wasn’t our first choice, but it turned out to be a fantastic value, especially compared to the more expensive hotel we had originally planned on.
I know this review is a bit long, but I wanted to be thorough and hopefully help someone make a quicker decision, without spending a whole day reading reviews like I did!

Room was clean and provisioned well. Service at front desk was friendly and informative. Hotel was quiet. Beds were comfortable.
Comfortable stay with a kitchen to help us control our food costs.

Front desk staff was friendly. The hotel is pet friendly, although we didn’t have our dogs with us, but it is good to know I could bring them next time. The room was comfortable and we had everything we needed.

Staff are accommodating and friendly. Safe area to leave U-Haul trucks. Free snacks come in handy. They have dog treats for the pets! Bedroom was clean and comfortable. Gym has dumbbells and cardio equipment, very important after a long drive. Also, front desk clerk recognized me as an IHG member.
