Excellent location and amenities, sofa bed unbearable to sleep on

Evrything about this Staybridge was very good. The location was excellent for us and there were so many choices in University Place plaza that you didn’t have to drive to get food if you didn’t want to. The room was very spacious and the bed itself was very comfortable. The biggest thing was the sofabed was very uncomfortable to even sit on as a sofa and the using it as a bed was unbearable as the mattress was falling apart. If you’re planning on using it I’d sincerely think twice about it. If it’s 2 guests using the bed then you should love this place

Very friendly team and would def return. Just make sure if you do laundry the dryer is working :) Everyone currently on the team is very friendly and helpful. Don't be scared to ask for something if you need it, they are very attentive.

I have stayed at this location at least 10 times over the years. Several food options are all located outside the front door, 1-minute walk from the door. The staff is super nice and the building is well maintained. 5 minutes off the highway.

The great staff almost makes up for what the rest of the hotel lacks, but not quite. It’s very worn and needs a total refresh. There were numerous problems, from the elevators to the laundry facilities to the poor social hour (the tacos and pizza being the exceptions.)

Stayed at Staybridge Suites while visiting my boys at UB. Location is perfect and I was able to bring our 2 small dogs. Room was spacious enough and bed was super comfy. I did have trouble regulating room temp…the air conditioning blew directly onto my bed making it a bit too cold, but if I lowered it the whole unit became too warm. Also, bathroom fan needs updating as it didn’t really do much to get rid of the moisture and humidity after a shower.

I had the pleasure of staying at this establishment for a week, spanning 7 nights, and I must say that the staff provided exceptional service. In particular, Theresa, the manager, went above and beyond to ensure the accuracy of my reservation and to guarantee that I wouldn't need to switch rooms. Given that I utilized both IHG points and reward nights for my booking, a situation that often leads to confusion at other IHG Hotels, I was pleasantly surprised by the seamless experience throughout my stay.
My room was clean and equipped with all the amenities I required for a comfortable stay. The overall tranquility of the hotel contributed to a restful night's sleep, and I felt completely at ease during my visit.
The Hotel also provided fresh baked warm cookies every night, so that was a nice touch.

I do not recommend room 204 for anyone. I was bitten severely, back, buttocks and arms. Issue was reported to staff on duty: photos taken. I had to stay in room with Pastor and family until I was moved to another room.
