We booked our room last minute after our VRBO was less than stellar. The price was phenomenal, especially for the quality of the hotel. Our room was very clean and updated, the two queen beds were incredibly comfortable, and the ladies at the check-in were fun, sweet and very helpful. We enjoyed the hot tub, and were pleasantly surprised by how warm the pool was kept. Downtown Asheville Uber/Lyft costs were between $4.50 and $7 depending on the time. I was shocked at how great of a value this was for the price, and will likely book here again for our next Asheville trip!

The staff were warm and welcoming. The rooftop bar was a delightful way to spend the early evening unwinding. The property was very clean and the rooms have every amenity needed.

This was one of the best hotel experiences we have had. Excellent staff. Alex, Tulsi, and Celeste were especially kind and helpful. We extended our stay by three nights because we didn't want to leave, lol. The roof top deck is AMAZING!!... please keep this open!! It was a bit of heaven and so relaxing.
The beds were very comfortable. My husband and I slept 8 hours and woke up so rejuvenated!!
Located near downtown Asheville and many wonderful restaurants, like The Cornerstone.
We were able to walk next door to Ingle's grocery's to purchase items and make breakfast and several delicious meals with our fully equipped kitchen. What a blessing you all provided a dishwasher, refrigerator and garbage disposal for your Guests too. How considerate of you!!
The rooms were spacious and the bathroom included body wash, shampoo and conditioner dispensers inside the shower. There was even a spacious closet with an iron and ironing board.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Your hospitality, comfort, amenities and kindness deserves 10 stars

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Bathroom had little water pressure. Hotel was clean and cozy.
Staff was uncaring and not personable. Candlewood cupboard was barely stocked and had very little options. Coffee was not good.
Dishonest policies and unauthorized charges on my card

Unprofessional staff , terrible pet policy are just the few issues we had encountered at this hotel . Today I discovered that I have been charged another 40 dollars on my card. I don’t recommend this place.

I had never stayed at Candlewood before but being an IHG member I decided to try this location in Asheville NC. AND I couldn’t be more pleased with the friendly staff, accommodations, and cleanliness of the room. I will definitely be locating and staying at more of these Candlewood locations and of course other IHG facilities

This hotel is amazing, and is worth the visit if you’re in the Asheville area. The room was comfortable, bathroom was great, and the beds were excellent. The rooftop bar and lounge was a wonderful place for views and ambience!

Took our dog to our first Asheville visit. Room was very clean and bed was very comfortable. The hotel is super pet friendly and our dog enjoyed joining us on our stay. Will definitely stay here again and would highly recommend to anyone with a dog visiting Asheville.
Card charged 3 hours prior to check in without notification

I reserved this room a few weeks in advance, and used a card with a low limit to reserve it to prevent any unauthorized charges. I received a call at noon, 3 hours before check in, advising me that the hotel had prematurely run my credit card and it declined. The staff member informed me that I had to provide my card information over the phone, or show up my 3pm, or my reservation would be canceled. We had to cancel a reservation to come to the hotel instead. I was advised that updating my card info online wasn’t an option. The staff member also said they couldn’t confirm whether or not the room was ready or reserved until I provided them with my card info. We rushed over to the hotel and spoke with Alex who stood by the phone call, and came across as very condescending and arrogant. Her demeanor only changed when we asked whether the online policy advised of charges in advance of arrival. She said that it should, and upon checking it did not. We followed up with a manager the next day who offered her apologies, but also stood by the behavior, and failed to realize that she was encouraging her staff to engage in behavior that goes against their written legally binding policies. The email I received advised that I would be billed for 1 day in the event that I didn’t show up by 6pm the day of check in. Nothing in relation to being charged sporadically at the decision of hotel staff. We also overheard another guest ask whether or not they would be double charged as they received a charge before arriving. The practices of this hotel don’t seem ethical. I will be following up and filing additional complaints.
