We arrived early but our room was ready so we were able to check in (so many hotels make you wait). We were given complementary water and cookies, and as it was my friend’s birthday. The room had everything we needed. Comfy beds, lovely shower, plenty of hanging space. The hotel is in a fantastic location. Breakfast is buffet style but there is plenty of choice and was excellent. Staff throughout the whole hotel were excellent and I could not really single one out because from reception staff, domestic staff, breakfast staff they were all happy and helpful. It’s a chain hotel but it didn’t not feel like it. They are usually quite regimented and impersonal. We felt like valued guests and I would definitely return.

Staff are exceptional, always welcoming and friendly. Really nice modern rooms with lots of space. Breakfast is good and perfectly placed next to the train station and a short walk to the Lanes.

Stayed for one night. Great location from Gatwick Express train. Guy on reception. Was very welcoming, other females staff thereafter, mediocre. Didn't matter, room excellent and would thoroughly recommend. Would stay here again.

The welcome at reception was nice but the room set up was poor. It initially felt cold due to the design and the air conditioning was noisy making sleep difficult. I'd booked the room for two people but towels were provided for only one person . We'd booked one of the larger corner rooms and there were cables hanging from below the lounge area TV screen which looked awful. In the bedroom, the TV screen was far too big for the wall space it was fitted in addition to it not working (probably not connected). The bedroom door wouldn't close due to the rug on the floor. The wardrobe doors in the bedroom were too close to the bed to easily open, in short, the room felt very badly designed. The lighting was also poor as there were only ceiling spot lights which were too bright - it needed a standard lamp or desk lamp in the lounge space to soften it. Whilst the kitchenette was clean, the shower head in the bathroom was in a shocking state with many of the rubber holes to direct the water missing, taking away from the shower experience, plus the shower screen was too small, so water went over much of the bathroom floor. The bed was comfortable and nicely made but that was about it. I rarely ever complain about a hotel room or anything for that matter but this was not a good experience.

We stayed at this hotel last Christmas whilst visiting my brother who lives in Brighton and thoroughly enjoyed our time in the hotel.
So we booked again but this time for new year.
The hotel suits all our needs as we have a small dog we brought with us. The hotel although dog friendly is very clean and comfortable. The staff are very friendly.The breakfast says it’s continental but to be honest it’s a lot nicer. This will definitely be our go to hotel whenever we visit Brighton.

Stunning room, floor to ceiling windows. Beautifully decorated and brand new. Excellent customer service at reception. The general feel of the building is grand.
Breakfast was varied and good quality. Overall, very happy with our stay and excellent service.

Broad smiles and a warm welcome at check-in, an immaculately clean apartment, a well stocked food store and a hearty breakfast presided over by true professionals. Stand-out service at reception and above and beyond great service from the team at breakfast (chef and servers were very responsive to our vegan request). Thank you for making us feel at home. What a wonderful experience such a friendly and clean hotel. We had a lovely stay we felt like part of the family. The staff went beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Hotel is in a great position central to everything you need. We would thoroughly recommend
