Clean room, comfortable bed, and good kitchen equipment.

The room was comfortable and spacious. The brand of coffee needs to be changed (it was awful). The availability of the kitchen and its utensils was a nice bonus for anyone who needs them.

Friendly staff upon arrival. Forgot computer charger upon checking out and they sent it to me. Will definitely stay again when in the area.

Traveling for a family visit. This hotel was convenient to our family and provided us with a clean room, comfortable bed, and quiet space to rest and rejuvenate.

While great service was provided by the hotel staff, the room had some issues. Coffee pot was broken, bathroom shower supplies were ALL empty (dated 01/24 on bottles). Lucky I had my own and coffee was available in the cupboard. Hotel needs to check when they clean/service room.

Beds could have been bigger as what was in the room could only accommodate one person comfortably. And pillows could have been firmer.

This is my 3rd year staying at this hotel. The last few years were a little iffy. But this year was Amazing. They have definitely done some changes. The staff was the best!

I was originally booked at a different hotel in the area. It was the dirtiest room I'd ever been in. I was in tears because they did absolutely nothing to help or even clean the room after seeing the yuk. I called a friend and she immediately said, I'll get you a place. She said she stays at IHG hotels everywhere she goes and is never disappointed. At this point I'd planned to sleep in my car so when I checked into the candlewood suites it was like a dream. The front staff was so welcoming, my room was amazing. It was clean and gave me peace. I had the best weekend because I had a safe, clean, friendly place to sleep at night. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I was disappointed with the overall experience at this property. I've come to expect more from IHG, and am a Diamond Elite member, so I've had experience with a wide variety of locations - this location did not live up to standards I've come to expect from IHG.
Flexible with early check-in, comfy beds, and very friendly staff

Our blues had a few shows in the area and we chose Candlewood in Merriville, IN for it's location and very fair price. The staff arranged for an early check-in and simply made everything easy. The beds were comfy and rooms were clean. We'd definitely stay again when we return.
