Elegant property by the sea with impressive rooftop infinity pool, attentive service and good breakfast

1 King Grand Sea View Balcony is around 32sqm large.
Bedroom with bed, armchair and desk.
The bed’s mattress is firm but comfortable.
Partly open bathroom with, on one side, sink with lighted anti-fog mirror with bluetooth speaker, and on the other side cubicle with bathtub and separate walk-in shower.
Omnisens Paris Thé Tonique toiletries (I like them very much).
Flat screen television set with very good selection of international channels, including different HBO channels and BBC World News.
Chromecast.
Nespresso coffee machine. Kettle.
Free minibar with soft drinks.
Filtered Water tap for drinking.
Usb and power sockets next to the bed and desk.
Balcony with chairs. Nice view over the sea.
Very efficient air conditioning despite high summer temperatures.

- Very attentive staff
- Great hotel for interior design and superb infinity panoramic rooftop pool
- Very relaxing destination by the sea. The hotel, which is only 30 minutes drive by taxi (or bus) from Kowloon, offers a very different perspective of Hong Kong, in the middle of nature and by the beach. The road to Sai Kung is very scenic.
- Very solid breakfast.
- I had the pleasure to meet and discuss with great and passionate GM.
- The hotel offers a free shuttle service to Ming Shing Street, close to Hang Hau Metro Station.
BAD
- Nothing
The hotel is very pleasant indeed, with elegant interior design.
Service is excellent and accommodations are very comfortable.
Definitely a very good option to relax by the sea.
Sai Kung is not (yet) Cannes but you can find several interesting bars and restaurants off very touristic Sai Kung Seafood Street.
You can also visit Yim Tin Tsai (a tiny island with a rich and storied past), Kiu Tsui Beach, Tin Hau Temple (Everything is within walking distance in less than 40 minutes).
The hotel does not (yet) offer bicycles, but you can use Loco bike, the local shared bike service (you must have a Chinese mobile number to activate it).

Despite being a member of IHG Rewards Club with benefit of late check out till 2pm, hotel front desk staff only offered half hour late check out by 12:30pm.
I presented my booking confirmation number, the front desk staff did not have details of my booking, say what items were included. I had to show them the breakdowns of my payment. They then called someone and updated my booking.
The more unhappy experience was that despite HKD1500 credit card deposit as listed in the terms of my online booking, they processed a HKD3000 pre-authorized credit holding without informing me in advance and my consent. I asked them why not the HKD1500. The staff simply said senior management changed the term lately. I said it was unacceptable, and I did not like my credit limit to be held that much. The staff eventually cancelled the HKD3000 and changed to HKD1500.
In brief, all of these were unnecessary troubles for me, the guest, during check in!

Hotel view is wonderful and swimming poor it also very execellent to us, nice food and mutiple choice are very important to our family in this vacation.We really enjoy 4 days staying here and will come back agin to have a good relax in this wonderful hotel.

Gorgeous Hotel, an oasis in Hong Kong and great to have such a quality place in Sai Kung. So easy to walk down into town, catch a ferry out to the stunning islands or catch a bus to most places in Hong Kong.

I had to call three times to have essential items delivered to the room.
The soap in the shower was half empty and the bottle broken.
The key card did not work on the second day, where I had to walk all the way and line up to get a new room card.

We celebrated our daughter's birthday with a weekend staycation in this hotel - great rooms, superb service and wonderful location. Thank you to GM Vikram and his staff - we checked into the rooms filled with balloons , decorations, and a birthday cake; and a birthday card personally written by the GM himself. Great personal touch that is indeed much appreciated. Under his leadership, I will see WM Hotel HK moving on to the next level with IHG.

I had a wonderfully relaxing stay with excellent service and top-notch facilities. Throughout my time there, I had the pleasure of engaging in delightful conversations with Jana, the housekeeping manager. She was incredibly friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Jana went above and beyond by providing me with numerous recommendations for activities and attractions to enjoy during my stay. The entire housekeeping team did an exceptional job, ensuring that my room was impeccably clean and spotless.
Furthermore, I had an amazing experience at the pool area. The staff members were incredibly kind and actively went out of their way to assist me. Their attentive and helpful nature made my time at the pool even more enjoyable.
Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The combination of the excellent service, impeccable facilities, and the wonderful interactions with Jana and the pool staff made my stay truly memorable.

A wonderfully comfortable bed, beautiful view, and friendly staff. Enjoying the view from the balcony and infinity pool was extremely relaxing. The staff we extremely friendly and everywhere was very clean. A great place to relax and recharge.

It would be great if the room air-conditioning has heating function because the room portable heater wasn't hot enough for us.
