Found bed bug and had to leave

We discovered a bed bug in our room right before going to sleep. We alerted the front desk and they were able to refund us. This was my first time staying in an IHG property. I'd recommend carefully looking for bedbugs at this hotel before getting comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The suite is very spacious. The bed is super comfy and I loved the pillows. The only thing lacking is towel bars and hooks in the bathroom. If we'd had more people staying I'm not sure where they would have hung towels.

Staff was very friendly and greeted us with a smile, great with small talk and interested in the reason for your visit. Room was very clean and we enjoyed the stay very much. Will more than likely be returning.

This was our first time staying in this hotel and second time ever staying at a Candlewood. We love the suites that these hotels provide. Very livable space and feels like home. We will definitely make it more of a priority to choose Candlewood in the future.

Check in staff was great and when I told them about the cleanliness of the room. The rooms were nice and big. The room were not well maintained because they were mostly dirty. More attention to detail needs to be made in the rooms

Overall stay was very good. Staff was friendly and room was very clean. Great value as well. I would recommend this hotel to other friends and family.

Found the rooms to be comfortable and clean, east to find right off the highway. The staff is great and the hotel is located right in the heart of some good businesses. Great location if you love casinos in your leisure time, nice kitchenette for cooking your own food. The bed is comfortable and the pillows are great for a good night sleep

Clean and comfortable room. Overall would recommend. Had a few things not work and needs an additional towel hook in the bathroom. Would still recommend.

I was traveling from PA to NC prior to the Helene storm. I was driving on I-79 and needed to stay somewhere where I could start my trip early and miss traffic. My research told me that the Candlewood Suites at Washington would be my best bet to arrive in NC prior to the storm to hit my area. It worked out great. I was able to get a good night sleep and leave the hotel by 7:15 Am. I arrived home in NC with minimal rain during the trip and was able to prepare for the storm.
