Terrible service. Many issues. Not worth the money

Really dissatisfied! Not like any other Kimpton we’ve stayed at. We don’t get the rooms we booked, we had issues with water pressure and a constant drip that we’re not addressed and disregarded. I asked for a driving service recommendation and was blown off.

NOT Recommended: Card Key Doesn’t Work, Moldy Bath

Booked one room for 2 adults for a 2-night stay a few of months in advance.
Arrival and check in process was smooth, however, one of the card keys did not work for the elevator nor unlocking the room.
We informed Mary (staff member) at the front desk who supposedly said it has been fixed, however, the card key still failed to work at the elevator and room.
Luckily, we were able to gain access using the second card key for the first night stay. This was inconvenient as one person had no access to the room without the other person present.
The second day, we informed the receptionist the card key isn’t working. He fixed it and it worked temporarily. The following morning (before checkout time) the card key failed to work again. Mary helped us “fix” it again (which did not work), so we had to go back to the front desk yet again.
Unfortunately, due to the inconveniences of losing access to our room/elevator THREE times during our 2 night stay… we will not be booking another stay here in the future.
Positives: Room is spacious.
Negatives: Shower could use some upkeep maintenance (moldy), card keys malfunctioning too often, housekeeping times are sporadic/inconsistent (did not clean until after 2pm for first day, and second day housekeeping arrived at 9am…), no coffee machine, no fridge (only wine cooler), no supplied drinking water (other hotels usually provide these)

Overall: would NOT recommend; nightly costs are high despite lack of accommodations normally provided at other hotels

Enjoyed the hotel and location. Loved the adjoining bar and restaurant. Room cleanliness could have been better - the carpet could have used a deeper clean and there was granola on my carpet next to the bed that seems to have been missed by housekeeping. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

I stay at the Kimpton St. George frequently, and always the same great service. The property is charming and inviting, and the staff are attentive and friendly. Location is also nice, just a few steps from the subway.

From the moment I checked in until the moment I checked out, this day was excellent. The staff at the front desk, housekeeping, and in general were excellent. The food and the food service team went above and beyond with excellent food fare.

From the time we checked in until the time we checked out, everything was stellar! The hotel is beautiful and well kept. The cleanliness and attention to detail was amazing. The staff were so kind and approachable. We would definitely go back.

This is our top choice for accommodations when visiting Toronto. We always sleep well and the entire staff is so friendly and helpful.

I stayed here for a 2 night work trip and had a great experience with the staff which were friendly and hotel which was conveniently located downtown. I enjoyed the evening receptions and the bar and lounge. Rooms were very clean and comfortable.

Will never ever stay in this hotel. Worst experience ever, my family was not treated with kindness when the valet company caused flat tire. The hotel keeps telling it’s my fault. Hotel is not responsible for this accident. How can get admit I need to be responsible when I delivered my working car to valet and then flat tire when the valet picked up the car again. I wasted 2 days in hotel as they did not want to repair my car. I could leave the hotel in 1hour if they were willing to repair tires. I had to escalate, complain and cancel my trip to get my tires repaired.

The room was exceptionally clean including the bath. Street noise was negligible and there was absolutely no noise from the hallway. Being elderly and concerned about slips and falls, I noted that there seemed to be no security handles for entering or exiting the shower. We had to be extra-careful. The beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows. Room temperature was fine with no adjustments to the thermostat required.
