I truly felt at home during my stay at Candlewood Suites in Avondale, LA recently. The front desk staff were extremely welcoming and provided excellent service, always with a smile! The room was very clean and comfortable. If my stay would have been for leisure, rather than business, I would have taken advantage of sleeping in! Loved my stay!

Amenities were ok. Most IGH properties offer breakfast. And a pool / hot tub would be nice

Not the best hotel but not the worst. Due to the dirty bathtub and the toilet handle not flushing I probably wouldn’t stay again.

Everything was very good. Front desk representatives were very friendly. The fitness center is very nice.
Only downside is there is no continental breakfast. Waffle House is next door

Good place for the price. I prefer a pool in the hotel . Nice rooms. The service was nice and the personal very respectful. Wow

I came in town for a family emergency and was treated well by all the staff. I got a call not long before check in and they informed me that the internet, cable and tv were down due to a power outage from a storm. They gladly we’re going to refund my room even though it was after the time of free cancellation if I decided not to stay. I stayed anyway and by the time we got up to our room and unpacked everything was back on. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.
