Very friendly staff, the Executive Chef kept the dining area spotless and the foods was excellent!
unjustified cleaning fee charged to customer

Front desk was not on duty when customer checked out and left the keys into the key box, then charged us one night. After we clarified over the phone and cancelled the reservation, they then recharged the cost as room cleaning fee.

Nice hotel on the water. Very good breakfast for this type of hotel. Breakfast was run by Mark Wright, who did a great job taking care of everyone.

Only caveats to excellent ratings are the following; Bathroom sink hot water not sufficient (despite shower and kitchen being great) and evening air stuffy (low humidity).

I like to stay at this hotel. It is very close to the University of Rochester, nice location to take a walk, dog friendly, clean and simple. Feels like home away from home. Kitchen is very clean and well stocked, although with good breakfast I did not use it more that just to make tea. Affordable prices at the bar. Nice outdoor patio where people can relax around the fire pit.

Clean room and spacious. Near to downtown and amenities. Good breakfast lot of options. Staff is friendly. I will visit again and also stay in other properties this is great value for money.

Wonderful hotel - short walking distance to University

We were in town for a volleyball tournament and this was the best decision for our lodging! We had a short walk to the athletic venue and the hotel was very convenient to other activities we wanted to do. Clean and spacious facility with friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend!

Great location. Nice hotel. Too bad the door locks wouldn’t work with my keys.
Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly, she was busy and tried to help us much as she could with the door lock issue. Some maintenance help for her would have been nice.

The bar that was advertised was not open per the hours in the elevator. There was no ice machine. The hotel was hard to locate due to the road construction going on. There was a breakfast buffet and the worker was friendly and accommodating however the set up was awkwardly laid out in different sections and not everything needed was near each item.

The stay was not as. Good view of water. Breakfast was meh. Scrambled egg option recommended. Berries were nice to have.
