Upon arrival we were greeted by Danielle and she was very pleasant and helpful with recommendations for our stay. Going to our room, we were surprised that the walkway was outdoors. Our room was huge with two bathrooms and bedrooms and full kitchen. Unfortunately there were some things we didn't like, such as the upholstery peeling off of the desk chair, the damage to the wall by the recliner, the refrigerator was very loud, and with the laminate flooring everything echoed. Overall, our stay was good, but some things need to be updated.
Maintence On Rooms not Kept Up

I have contact IHG and the hotel, but no one responded other than a typical form letter from the hotel manager. I even sent photographs to the hotel manager but received no acknowledgement. Hotel room was dirty and not maintained. The room had water leaking from the A/C into the room and also had mold and dirt issues.. I do not recommend this hotel. I hate to leave bad reviews but I have received no feedback from the hotel or IHG about the issues.
Could be a great option for staying in the area if the issues were resolved. This website had an error and would not let me upload the photographs

I stayed 3 nights and the room was huge and clean. My toilet was broken 2 of the 3 days so it was a set back to use lobby restroom. The major flaw was the toilet and it having to be fixed by maintenance 2 seperate days.
Spacious but tired

The two room suite was very spacious however the main area was “tired” and in need of some TLC. Stained chairs and wall damage. Staff was amazing.

I’m very picky with hotels, having been in hotel management myself. But this property was lovely, the spacious suite was perfect for my family, and I’ll definitely look into other Candlewoods on my travels.

room was in horrible condition. paint was peeling off the walls, furniture was looked like it was bought at the local shelter and was beat up( more than just normal wear and tear)it looked like a dog had come through and chewed up all the furniture. couch cushions were ripped and seams were coming apart. fire sprinkler in bathroom was rustedd out and definetly not in working condition.

Hotels great for long term. Full size kitchen spacious room and perfect for families. Quiet location with great staff. We stayed and will definitely be back.

The rooms have lots of space with a full kitchen. Dishes are provided, and anything else you might need (toaster oven, blender, etc) can be checked out from the front desk. The staff is super friendly, and the location is perfect for checking out San Diego. Most locations are less than 20 minutes away.

Me and 5 others needed a room for one night where we arrived at 12am. I booked a couple weeks in advance and informed of our arrival time. They added a note and gave instructions on how to check in. Great call. When we arrived, we used the phone and a very friendly woman helped us in and check in. She gave us plenty of info of the property and was very pleasant to deal with. The lobby, room and cupboard was very tidy and overall great experience. My only complaint is the elevator does not give a whole lot of confidence during its use with it shaking and making noise. 100% recommend this location.

I had a hotel room when I got there, and at no point did I ever feel like anything was leaving our inconvenient. I didn't have to give my room or comfort any thought so all during my trip. Candlewood made it easy to let my accomodations completely disappear from my list of things to think about.

The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, however the stove didn’t work, there were no usb charging ports and the refrigerator made noise all night. Staff and other guests were unmasked, so that made it difficult to move about with my 80+ father. It was quiet, but I’m not sure if I would stay at this location again.
