Minor Room for Improvement

I’ve stayed here often. During Covid I’ve noticed that there’s a little less attention to detail:
1. My Spire Elite status was not noticed on arrival.
2. I have not received my stay points (at other properties this happens a short while after checkin.)
3. No floor bath towel.
4. Only one fork in drawers.

On the up-side I always appreciate the free laundry and the staff provided us with a free Tide Pod.

Front desk man (that has been there a long time) is very friendly and remembered me from previous visits.

Not so great service, hard to believe it's part of IHG

I rarely write reviews but I really had to pen this one down as we had to face a lot of issues during our stay here.

1) I missed my friends wedding ceremony as We had to wait for 45 minutes at the reception for our room to be ready. There were around 30 other people in the reception area waiting for room to be ready in-spite of checking-in online

2) Found fleas in the bed, I had to search for them after something bit me and we do not have any pets or animals. So at 1 am I had to march downstairs and request for room change. Fortunately we got that quickly and we were shifting rooms at 1:15am.

3) We get a wake-up call at 4:30am even without asking for it. We hardly got 2 hours of sleep post shifting the rooms

4) While checking out, we got hold-up at reception for about 40 minutes that my Card was declined but I already a charge on my card and there was gross mis-management

I would like my money back for such bad service provided

Not recommending this place to anyone

6 Week Stay for Business

Overall stay was good. The laundry facilities were always running at about half capacity which was quite irritating, but other than that everything was good.
Being next to the airport the planes landing/taking off woke me up, but that's not the fault of the hotel.

End of a long day

We arrived in the evening in a rental car after flying most of the day. The hotel is away from the road and not easy to spot in the rain. The guest laundry is free, and we used it, although most of the washers and dryers were not operating. A complimentary breakfast is available, and the hotel shuttle will take guests anywhere within two miles. Our room was comfortable, but could use upgrading.

dated hotel that is way overpriced. services lack, especially for a priority club member. air system in rooms need to work. it appears your staff are over worked and poorly trained.

Ok stay for the Big E

We stayed for one night, the staff was GREAT!! NO complaints about the staff, however the very strong marijuana odor on the whole floor was not great. And they had no soap ☹️

Not sure I would return, again the staff is great and doing the best they can, but the odor and lack of any soap made it not great.

The Good and Bad News

This is my second review of Candlewood Suites. While in a great location, it needs tender loving care. The staff are wonderful people who work hard. The rooms, beds, lobby all need work. The mattress was very uncomfortable, the room smelled musty, and it was difficult to change the AC at all. This hotel could be great, but it misses the mark in many ways

The room was very nice, a 1 bedroom suite, but there were good and bad conditions.

The good - friendly check-in, nice room layout, plenty of room to work, well appointed kitchen, excellent selection of HBO channels (5).

The bad - number 1 complaint was the strong pot smell on the fourth floor. Apparently the no smoking rule was not enforced. Other issues that brought down the rating were living room TV did not work (tech sent to room could not repair), no bathroom sink soap, had to use the shower to get hand soap (small issue but a bar of soap should be at the sink), and the automatic coffee maker turned out some pretty bad s
