Had an amazing time at the hotel. Was their leaving my daughter for university. And the staff coul not have made our experience any better ..thankyou

Overall a nice place to stay, quiet, and well designed. Bathroom could have been cleaner and the breakfast staff could be more pleasant and helpful rather than rude but this can all be fixed.

We stayed 2 nights. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is ideally located for exploring Liverpool. The food in the restaurant was good. Overall, we had a great stay.

Midweek Stay

We stayed in Hotel Indigo in Liverpool for a midweek stay, postponed from earlier in the year due to the current circumstances. There were adequate Covid 19 precautions in place and all staff wore appropriate PPE when dealing with and not with customers which engendered confidence. As usual the staff were as professional and personable as always. One disappointing aspect was our room which was tired looking, especially the bathroom which could do with a good clean and a lick of paint. In addition, although the room was marked with cleaning seal tape one day, we did not see much evidence of that cleaning.

Friendly welcome in the COVID era

This was my first stay at a Hotel Indigo and I wasn't disappointed. From the moment I saw the hotel to the moment I checked out, nothing was too much for any member of staff. Even with the Perspex screens, the masks and the social distancing, you could feel the pride from every single member of staff I interacted with. The member of staff that stood out for me though was Dean on reception. Such a friendly and truly heart-felt welcome.

I've always loved staying at the Indigo in Liverpool. The sense of style in the decoration, the friendly staff, the little touches like a stocked fridge on arrival - all of these combine to make a visit to the Indigo a real pleasure.

What a change the CoViD-19 pandemic has caused! The style in the rooms has gone, swept away by a need to protect staff and guests. The empty fridge was a shock, as were the paper coffee cups. Thankfully the staff were as wonderful as ever - it'll take more than a global pandemic to change a scouser.

Pleasant stay

Stayed for one night in a superior room. Due to COViD there are no throws or cushions so the rooms are not as colourful or funky as photos suggest. Room was also much smaller than I was expecting for a superior. Bathroom nice and airy.
The staff were excellent, from reception to waiting staff in the restaurant. Food lovely. Dinner was excellent as was breakfast - shame about the cheap sausage !
Would definitely stay again. It initially seems a fair way from the train station, but was actually not a great distance and liked not been right in the hustle.

Great staff from check in to the bar. Only issue was the late check out didn't seem to flow through to the housekeeping team. Minor issue in a good stay.

Amazing friendly staff

The lady that checked us in on reception and the man that was next to her, were both lovely and friendly! Later on the lady bought us some ice up to our room and the next day allowed us to have a later check out. Just the little things of how well she looked after us all and was so polite, made us so happy with our stay. The man that bought our food up to the room and served us later that evening at the bar, again was lovely and friendly and had a little laugh with us. All the staff made us love our stay compared to last time when I stayed and we will definitely be returning!
