Perfect for the whole family to relax and unwind and enjoy a good night's sleep. Super comfy beds and pillows! Accommodating staff. Very large, updated showers! A new kind of clean!

The room and hotel was great! What was not so great is the car next to us got broken into. Luckily we didn’t get hit but the location might pose a problem since it’s right off the highway. Nothing the hotel can do about people being stupid. Overall the staff was great and the room was clean!

The rooms are standard, but clean. The television is huge (nice for being stuck inside during inclement weather). This location is close to shopping and dining venues. The drive from the airport is about 30 minutes in moderate traffic. There are a lot of things to do and see in the area, but parts of the city are a bit dodgy near the hotel.

A great hotel except for the high crime rates in the area. If you need to be in this specific area then it's the best choice but if you can head to another Holiday Inn up or down I-5 then I'd certainly recommend that.

I got two rooms for our family members coming for a funeral. When I called to explain what this was for and to give them the names of the people who were to be staying (including the widow) the person kept interrupting me. I tried to explain and she told me she could tell I was “excitable” as I was “refusing” to listen to her. I ended up calling corporate as she said her name was Victoria, she was a manager and I didn’t need to know her last name. I was floored by her attitude and rudeness. I have never had a bad experience like this before. Corporate was excellent, though and made everything right.

I was impressed with the cleanliness of everything. All electronics and other equipment worked with no complications. All of the staff were friendly and helpful and quickly answered any questions that I had during my stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel to the next person.

The staff at the holiday express in Tacoma were wonderful. They treated me only with respect. They have many precautions set to prevent the spread of Covid. Unfortunately the pool and fitness center were closed because of the preventions however they made sack breakfast to make up for the traditional continental breakfast being restricted. The water was shut off fir the majority of one day although the staff could not say whwn the water woukd be turned back on they were very friendly and apologized for the inconvience they did explain it was due ti a hot water tank needing to be replaced so it was nice to know that they repaired the unit when needed I am pleases with the service I was provided even considering the situations all around. Thank you Holiday for the relaxing worry free stay I had at your location

Me (female) and other female friend stayed. Gave us a ground floor closed to the ice machine and not to far from the main lobby/breakfast area. So loud.. and workers or other guests had loud conversation more than 10 min at 4 am, 5 am in the hallway. We were there for business trip, conference but could not relax, sleep at all on the 1st night. 2nd night was slightly better. Especially during this COVID19 period, i don't know if they just did not spread out guests or did not open up the other floors, or maybe all booked?, but I was pretty bothered to get a room next to the ice machine, on the ground floor next to the elevator, not too far from the lounge. (and Yes, I am a IHG member).
