From the minute we checked in, I knew I was going to love this place. The room passed all my expectations. I will be staying again soon. The breakfast options were great. Something for everyone. The gentleman in the kitchen took our empty plates and didn’t have to. It was a nice bonus. The hotel was very clean and staff present.

I stay at this hotel whenever I have to travel to Cedar Rapids. The staff is always friendly and the rooms are clean and well maintained. The breakfast provides more choices than your average hotel.

The service at this hotel was some of the best I have ever encountered. The front desk were all very friendly and engaging; if you brought a problem to them they were quick with a solution. The guy that ran the morning breakfast was tops! He served great food, was extremely friendly and you could tell he took great pride in his work. My only complaints were some oversight about leaving dirty dishes in the dishwasher prior to our arrival and there appeared to be some mold/mildew on the ceiling above the shower.

Hotel was not ready for guest to check into, had 3 double suites booked for a funeral and only one was available and ready for guest. Changed rooms 6 times and had varies problems from not air conditioning units in the rooms to the rooms was so hot 87 degrees we received one double suites from our reservation but was charged full price of the double suites. They just kept send us to rooms then we would have to come back down telling them there no air conditioner in the room or that rooms 87 degrees and we tried turn down the cooling but it would not work. To connecting rooms where the door won’t open when it did finally it hit the refrigerator in the connecting room and you could not use the door to get into the room from the hallway. This hotel was right out of crazy movie.. the rooms Are Nice if you can get the suite you reserved
Staff was unbelievably friendly. Especially the gentleman in the breakfast area. He did a great job.

A very friendly hotel near many shopping and eating establishments. Very clean and you can tell the staff take their jobs seriously. The breakfast area was excellent as far as choices of what to eat goes. The gentleman in the breakfast area was super friendly and you could tell he took pride in his job. Wife and I would stay there again.

This location and building was nice. Overall not bad but since I was there for business it wasn't the experience I needed. I arrived late after 7p and was told the wifi and cable was out. Being that I am there on business and need the internet to do part of my job this was frustrating to hear after traveling all day. It would have been nice to know this information the minute it happened so I can make alternative arrangements if I wanted. I took the room as I was tired and it was really nice but then I noticed ants on my bedside table going to my bed frame. I would have mentioned to staff but I already was planning onmoving hotels the next morning so I just left it as it was.

I'd like to start with something positive. We were very happy to leave! None of our expectations for an IHG property were met. First impression was a dark and dingy property. That never changed, and it got worse. Check-in took much longer than other IHG locations we've visited. Although, all other locations we've visited had more than one desk clerk. Our kitchenette floor was sticky, and I'm not sure how long it had been since the carpets had been thoroughly cleaned. MUCH better cleaning is needed and usually found in an IHG property. Bedroom A/C unit was far too noisy with the main room A/C unit loud as well. Toilet leaked and refilled all night to add more noise. Not sure what year the gross looking flapper causing the leak was last replaced. So, we didn't really get any much-needed sleep. As that was the only reason for booking the room, we were both upset. Using my 20-20 hindsight, we should have skipped the stay and saved a LOT of money!
Upon checkout, I expressed my disappointment and the details above to the desk clerk. She wasn't able to do anything, but she promised to alert her manager and took down my contact information, which was already on file and most likely visible on her screen. The compensation offer I received from the manager was beyond insulting, and not what I expected from an IHG property. I'll never stay here again, and my confidence in IHG properties is lower now.

Hotel was very dirty. Overall grounds and hotel not taken care of well. Lead me to feel unsafe as well. Would not recommend to anyone. Only pros were the breakfast and suite style room setup. Design was updated but would prefer older design for cleanliness.
