We had a great stay at Voco Hotel. The property was very clean, and every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. The hotel’s location is excellent—everything we needed was close by and easy to reach. We arrived earlier than expected in the morning, and Willie Kim at the front desk went out of his way to accommodate us. Noticing we had our 8-month-old with us, he kindly checked for room availability, even though early check-ins at that time aren’t usually allowed. Fortunately, a room was ready, and we were able to settle in right away. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely choose Voco again on our next trip to Seoul.

This is the best hotel I have ever stayed. The staff is extremely welcoming and helpful. My crown (tooth) fell off when I was there and the front desk clerk booked a dental appointment for me and walked me next door to the dentist's office. I can't say enough good things about this hotel.

The Voco Gangnam is centrally located. It is close to both a train station and bus stop and made getting around the city much easier. The staff was delightful. The room comes with a free mini bar that is refreshed daily. The bathroom was great and clean.
My only complaint is that we were “upgraded” to a room that had two single beds. I understand space is limited, but we are on our honeymoon so the separate beds were a little strange. Didn’t feel like an upgrade.
Overall, I’d highly recommend this hotel for first time tourists. It is walking distance from convenience stores, restaurants, and nightlife. But the real highlight is the accessibility to the rest of the city.

ANAスーパーフライヤーズ会員です。いろいろ特典があったのでわざわざ会員登録して初めて利用しました。マイレージも紐付けしたのにチェックイン時にマイレージカード提出をいわれず、ウェルカムドリンクも朝食無料サービスもいわれなかった。何よりクレジットカードのオーソリが上手く行かず何度もトライ、別のスタッフが対応したが気づけば勝手に（チェックイン時に払うのかきいたらデポジットと確実にいったのに）に何故かサインを求められ結果初日にsaleされていた。チェックアウト時は「もう大丈夫です」と言われ領収書すらくれなかった。なので当然料金割引もされなかった。そして誰でも無料のWi-Fiの案内もチェックイン時になかった。Wi-Fi無料なのは最終日スーツケースを取りに行ったら他人のチェックイン時にWi-Fi無料であることが案内されていて偶然しりました。客室掃除では小物も紛失されたり、諸々残念なことばかりで悲しい滞在でした。今からでも割引料金返金してほしいくらいです。

I had a truly wonderful stay at voco Seoul Gangnam. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with thoughtful amenities. I especially appreciated the convenient kitchen and laundry facilities, which made the stay feel even more like home. The staff were all incredibly kind and helpful, always greeting us with a smile. The location was perfect—close to everything we needed, yet peaceful and relaxing. I would definitely choose to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Seoul!
Poor air conditioning and staff knowledge

Our King Suite was nice but the air conditioning couldn’t get the room temp below 25.5c, despite their efforts to fix. Their only solution was to give us a fan. We slept poorly due to the heat for 3 nights.
Our other problem was their front desk telling us that the airport limousine bus has its own bus lane hence would be the quickest way to the airport ie 50 mins. There was no bus lane and it took nearly 2 hours due to traffic congestion. We just made check in by running through the airport and then to the gate.

Too noisy even with windows shut tight and curtains drawn. The walls and doors are too thin that you can hear everything happening outside your room or next door. I can even hear my neighbour opening the safe.

Voco has always been one of my favorite brands—it’s stylish and welcoming. I recently stayed at Voco Gangnam in Seoul, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The hotel is new, very clean, and incredibly comfortable.
What impressed me the most was the service. From the moment we checked in, the front desk staff were professional, friendly, and genuinely helpful. They gave us excellent advice when we were choosing our room type, and even recommended a nearby restaurant that turned out to be amazing!
Throughout our stay, everything from housekeeping to car service requests was handled perfectly. We’re truly grateful for the warm hospitality and the unforgettable memories this stay gave us.
