Not one of the best Holiday Inns I have stayed in

The walls of this Holiday Inn were so thin - I could hear people coughing in the rooms nearby, could hear them moving around above me, could hear talking and tvs. As I result I got hardly any sleep whilst I was there. View was of building tops - not scenic at all.
The breakfast only opened at 07:30 on the weekends, which I thought was strange as this is when most tourists stay - people were unable to eat breakfast because they had tours to get to which started at 08:00. Even a 07:00 start would be preferable. Average variety at breakfast.
No bar fridge
Good location, close to public transport and the sights of Aberdeen

Great hotel,situated in an excellent proximity to main shopping areas,resturaunts,pubs etc.
Lovely rooms,nice staff and all at a reasonable price.

This hotel is ideally placed for holiday to Aberdeen. Our room was pretty comfortable, the only downfall was the settee that doubled as a sofa bed. I don’t know how it would be as a bed, but it certainly wasn’t any use as a sofa.
Staff were very good - attentive without being in your face.
Overall a lovely stay at very good price.

I arrived at check-in and was told my booking card was refused, the lady on reception tried my card and said it was again refused(despite plenty funds in account) luckily I had another card but was still embarrassing infront of other guests. I was then given a room, unpacked and went to leave the room to meet friends and the door wouldn't lock,after phone calls to reception and about 15 minutes , I was allocated another room so packed ,moved,unpacked again and eventually I met my friends nearly an hour late.
On return to new room I settled in with a coffee and put the tv on, guess what.. it didn't work, again a call to reception and a visit from them confirmed it was broken but they could do nothing till the morning.
Maybe I was just unlucky.

It was OK for a 2 day stay,but would not recommend staying longer if you had a room facing the street as it is quiet noisy, breakfast was good and room was clean Wi-Fi kept coming and going as did the tv

Aberdeen HIEX Chapel Street ist eines der besten HIEX. Insbesondere Team der Frühschicht aber vor allem Team beim Frühstück um den Teamleiter Basant ist herausragend. Frühstücksraum, das Angebot der Speisen, vor allem die Details, gehen über das erwartbare Angebot hinaus. Aufmerksamkeit der Servicekräfte außerordentlich hoch. Rundum sehr gut und geht deutlich über ein 3-Sternehaus hinaus. Kompliment und großen Dank. Die Vorabreservierung eines begehrten Stellplatzes gestaltete sich schwierig. Das Procedere beim Check-In nachmittags könnte einfacher sein, MA mit wenig Kompetenz und Übersicht, aber wohl eine Ausnahme

Staff were not overly helpful, on one occassion staff members were arguing at front desk. Noise from corridor and other rooms heard clearly in room.
Great place to stay value for money with very little to mark down on.

For value for money, friendly and very efficient staff I cannot find anything to complain about. Only slight downside was room starting to show its age but wouldn't take much to correct.

Good clean tidy hotel. Just watch opening the bathroom door a bit of a finger jam if not careful. Would go back to stay anytime

Bedroom was dated ,stains on couch and carpet room got very hot during night no air conditioning. Shower very high step to get in and no toilet brush provided
