Stayed here for 2 nights. I have to say, probably the best cooked breakfast I’ve had during a hotel stay. Great quality ingredients compared to most places I’ve stayed.
Had rump steak dinner last night cooked as I’d requested and couldn’t fault it. Very reasonable prices for food and the bar. They also do 24 hour pizza.
Staff were all very helpful and polite.
Can not drop off your luggage at the front door.

This hotel does not allow guests to drop off their luggage at the hotel. Every taxi in town will not stop at this hotel as it has a parking eye at the entrance. You therefore have to walk with all your luggage. Also if you attempt to park your outside to drop off your luggage and check in you will receive a fine of £100.
I would advise you avoid this hotel at all cost unless you like paying £100 parking fines.

Fast in-check, polite and nice staff in the reception, good and efficient breakfast even in the very early morning. No noice at all in the corridors or from other guests or staff as well, nice and tidy surroundings

We only stayed one night but, from the moment we checked in through to our very early checkout, we felt welcome, looked after and appreciated as guests and IHG club members.
All staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly and respectful, regardless of their role or the time of day.
One particular highlight was the restaurant food, which was genuinely superb - fresh, visually appealing and delicious.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel, not simply because of its convenience for air travel from Aberdeen, but because it was such a positive experience.

I stayed at the holiday inn express for one night following a late night in Aberdeen.
Positives:
- Reception staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
- The room was a reasonable size.
Negatives:
- having to pay for parking. £10 per night for paying guests seems unreasonable. Consider reducing the charge or at least offering free parking to IHG members.
- The bed was a bit too soft for my liking so I didn’t sleep very well.
- Water pressure in the shower was very low. It was hard to fully rinse hair and get enough shower to cover myself without constantly moving the shower head.
Not sure I would stay again.

Had a lovely stay, staff were very helpful when I thought I was using the heating wrong. The morning staff were always really cheery despite the time and the evening staff always polite and helpful. Would definitely book again!

Extremely close to the airport—perfect for early morning flights. Small rooms, nothing fancy, but comfortable and extremely clean. Very nice staff. Despite proximity to airport, heard absolutely NO NOISE. Good night’s sleep. Good wi-fi. Great value for money, nicely inexpensive. Would expect to pay much more for clean, comfortable, quiet room. Breakfast is conveniently offered beginning at 4 AM for continental, and 5 AM for hot cooked breakfast. Good selection of offerings for a chain hotel. Nice, clean solid option for travel lodging.
Parking fine for demisting windscreen

I stayed in this hotel and paid to use their carpark. Upon leaving the carpark, I stopped momentarily (under 2 minutes) to wipe condensation from the inside of the windscreen; nobody left the vehicle during this time. I subsequently received a £100 PCN from Excell Parking. I contacted the hotel, and they said I should appeal it. I did this and it was rejected (they even lied about what I had said in my appeal). I again contacted the hotel who said that it should not have been issued and that they would have it cancelled. However, I have now received threatening and intimidating letters from debt collection agencies and bailiffs. Upon further contact with the hotel, they are now saying that they can't do anything about it.
This situation is ludicrous. I have done nothing wrong and have now had to spend a considerable amount of time pursuing this. The hotel have agreed that this charge should not have been made in the first place but appear unwilling or unable to do anything about it. At one point they said they couldn’t do anything because it was a separate company (the parking company). However, as you have appointed them then you are ultimately responsible for their actions.
£100 charge for stopping on the hotel access road

The hotel itself was fine. However, when leaving the hotel car park (which I had paid for), I stopped momentarily to wipe condensation from my windscreen. I subsequently received a parking charge notice of £100. Despite repeated communication with the hotel, they have been unable or unwilling to have this charge cancelled.

I stayed here as it was convenient after the flight and close to relatives I was visiting. I had a wonderful experience which was only marred by the young man on the reception on the sunday morning who could have been more helpful
