Very easy from start to finish. Many cars in the car park Fri night, but did get a space.
Great breakfast. All you can eat - all I need!
Horrible experience as they didn’t provide with room heaters when the temperature is freezing

I booked holiday inn to attend a conference at Bristol. Check-in was good and I left the hotel to have dinner with my friends. However I came back at 10 pm and found the room to be freezing.
When I called them for a heater at first they responded that they would give me one.
Later on when I called them they ignored me for 3 times. However they responded when my husband who was in London called them with the very first attempt as it was a different number. They offered me a second duvet which wasn’t helping at all with the cold.
My husband later called manager who was the same person who offered me the duvet and again we had the same answer that no heaters are available. We even asked him to please get a heater from near by holiday Inn as it’s impossible to sleep in a room which is very cold. However he denied. Customer care is horrible.
Please put a room heater for every room. The management couldn’t provide a room heater when the temperature is 8 degrees. They said that the heaters were taken by other guests. How come there would be only few heaters when the temperatures are still under 10 degrees at nights. Moreover, I wasn’t feeling well in myself and was down with cold and fever.
I had to come out of this hotel as I was freezing at 12 midnight and had to rebook another hotel and call a cab. Just imagine a plight of a young woman at that midnight to choose a different hotel. When I went to give my room key at the reception at 12 midnight they just took the key and did nothing. I couldn’t see an apologetic face by the person that how I’m gonna sort this out at midnight being a single woman.
Horrible experience overall…

Great location for us to stay and have stayed here several times now. Good location, car parking and breakfast. Welcoming staff and good rooms. Good night's sleep, very peaceful.

The hotel is fine. It’s nothing special and I wouldn’t expect any kind of miracles but if you need somewhere to sleep, it’s okay.
Breakfast was terrible. Bacon was so hard. Sausage taste funny.. Other things was good but breakfast awful!

ok for a single night stay, wouldn’t want to stay any longer. room was so small when the sofa bed was in use no plug sockets could be reached.

The worst two nights sleep ever…
As a family who went on a holiday, we ended up not enjoying our mornings at all,‘cause we all woke up with back pains from those wood board mattresses and restless sleep, and everyone was busy for the first hours of the morning complaining how bad the sleep was and how much we all wished that we didn’t have to sleep again, for the second night, in that nightmare of a room…

We stayed for a couple of nights, just to get away. The room was comfortable, the temperature/air conditioning worked well and the room was clean and not shabby at all. We didn’t eat at the venue but they made us aware that we could, breakfast was free (only a limited suggestion but it is free so that is ok in my eyes) and we would definitely stay there again!

This is our second time staying.
A clean and tidy hotel.
Very friendly staff.
Our room was very quite, clean and fresh.
The restaurant is nice and airy, there is plenty of room to eat or just chill.

ery disappointed and annoyed regarding the unexpected closure of the restaurant on Saturday night. When we booked in 3 hours earlier I spoke with a member of staff enquiring if a reservation was required and at no point was I informed that it would be closed. Based on this conversation, I made no alternative arrangements, trusting that the facility would be available as usual on a weekend evening. To then discover that the restaurant was shut, without warning or explanation, was not only inconvenient but also unacceptable given the standard of service I expected. This lack of communication disrupted my plans and left me unable to make alternative arrangements.

Service from the team was great, particularly Imogen, friendly and helpful
The team would have benefitted from an additional staff member for the bar/reception during the busy evening period but they did what they could with what they had.
