Great staff - a bit noisy at night

Great location, great staff, very clean, easy check-in, easy check-out. Just a bit noisy at night while sleeping, due to be so close to the highway.

While the hotel was a little shabby, it was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a little crazy, with 2 large groups there when I came down to eat.
An annoyance was that the room doors slammed loudly all up and down the hall (at least on the 4th floor)when people went in and out, so if loud noises bother you or you are a light sleeper, this could bother you.
The brew on demand coffee was a nice amenity.

No bill was sent to me showing if 624 dollars was paid to ihg askedcseveral times did not get the correct order showing there was no outstanding charges

We had an excellent experience with this hotel. We were greeted by a very pleasant and helpful young woman at the front desk. She recognized us as members and told us we were therefore entitled to a complimentary beverage. Our room was comfortable, nice looking and very clean. It was overall a great experience and I would recommend this hotel!

Please ask housekeeping to check shower head andbmakevsure it doesn't wet the whole floor otherwise very nice stay

I loved the pond sitting area with horse sculptures and fountain flanked by two flowering pear trees! It started me off with a great impression. Check-in was easy and your employees were helpful and friendly. I liked the open floor plan with open dining area across from reception. Everything looked neat and clean. The room was recently and newly modernized; everything was crisp and clean from the bathtub to the sheets. I loved the chaise lounge and coffee/refrigerator nook. The small side closet just for the iron and ironing board was great; they no longer clog up the closet. I appreciated that the safe was built into the floor and wall of the closet to make it more secure. It's in a better location than high up where short people can't reach. The bed was comfortable. I slept well. Checkout was easy. I would highly recommend your hotel.

Stayed at this location for a weekend soccer match. The staff were excellent and the check in and check out times were fast. The location was spotless. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean.

We were warmly greeted by Renee at the front desk.She made eye contact and greeted us by name. She recognized our level thanked us for our loyalty. Renee noted that I requested that all feathers be removed from our assigned room/suite. She introduced us to her co-worker Donna also at the front desk stating that Donna was going to bring up additional foam/polyester pillows. Renee also offered us a welcome amenity. Both were professional and the perfect representatives of Holiday Inn Express Stony Brook,LI.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Facilities were very clean and the price was very good. It was a great place to stay.
